I called that a suprise, they took down Detroit and Dallas, two teams that were way better than them. Why watch the playoffs at all if you already know who's going all the way? Why should there be 7th and 8th seeds at all, u gotta have hope. That's why the NFL is so exciting, I wish the NBA could be the same way, underdogs prevail.

Getting that win would give us another series with Phoenix and we wouldn't have to play the Mavericks in the first round. Honestly, I don't think either team would really favor us but because of the series last year, I think we would have more success against Phoenix....not saying we would win it alltogether but we would have a better chance.

But Yeah, almost doesn't count for nothing. I can see L.A passing the Suns, but it is gonna take tough lock down defense for the whole game to stop their high powered offense. I don't think L.A will win the series, but I'm not counting them out so easily. Just like Golden State, I think they got a great chance at Dallas.
Re: We are going to the playoffs! Understand, the Lakers were one defensive rebound away in game 6 from a date with the baby brother Clippers last year. If we wouldn't of let Tim Thomas shoot that 3, we would have at least gotten to the WCF last year, so BELIEVE!!!!!

If your in, you earned it.</div>Unless your the 2003-2004 Celtics who got in with a 36-46 record I'm just playin though the Lakers definately deserve it, they've had some tough injuries this year and Kobe is f*cking incredible. Any team that makes the playoffs in the Western Conference is a good team, that is a fact. Hopefully the Lakeshow can do some damage in the first round.

If you give me them when they were playing well in the first half of the season, I honestly think they would have a chance to beat them.

But Now I am going to be riding the Lakers through the playoffs- problem is Im thinking it is going to be a four game ride. Could the Lakers lose 7th spot and get the Mavs? Yes I tihnk they can if GS win thier next two and Lakers drop another. Then they are matching up against the Mavs- goodbye in four.Im hoping they get another shot at the suns- but this year the suns have Amare - so again unless they find some form- goodbye in 5.I hope to god I'm wrong!

I know the Lakers are better than us, but the Warriors have been playing great lately, while the Lakers have been limping to their playoffs spot, and they are undefeated against the Mavs. They would take Dallas farther than either LA team so I'd like that.
