Well, you will need to decide. I does seem like you care, but it is not your place to judge (Marine or not) so you will have to work it out, piss poor judgemental grandson? Or shitty grandfather? But, when you say Marine and Fool in the same message, you have my take.
All you have been doing is reacting. Saying I should shut the fuck up, I’m judging, I’m an ass, etc. I said fool and marine in the same sentence. Big fucking deal. I never said marines were fools, I said my grandpa is a damn fool and he is. Maybe you should check yourself as an elder, going around saying this shit saying I’m judging is toxic. Then again you sound a lot like my grandpa so maybe I was wrong about you. So stuck in your marine label, that’s all you can think about. Not the fact he’s a bad grandfather. Prehistoric thinking it seems like. Oh well
Being a marine currently or an ex does not automatically make one a good person marzy and thinking so is foolish.
[ Perhaps not, but it is a good starting point. Ha! Let's see, I have worked with nine different Marines on three separate occasions. I have hired five Marines after their service and as I recall, the only one's I had an opportunity to hire. I can not see you replacing one of these good men.
So is that 32 Marines? If Marz has seven Marines and gives Cippy three, one of which has PTSD and one lives in Brooklyn and takes the F train to work, at the end of the season how many Marines does MarAzul have? barfo
So you have hired 5 marines out of the thousands and thousands that have served and use that as your basis? That's not even a blip on the radar. Your data is basically worthless. As for me replacing any of them? That's laughable as you don't even know me or what I am capable of. I don;t agree with cippy much of the time, but I am 100% sure he knows his grandpa a lot better than you do so you arguing with him about it is being rude and pointless. Sometime you just need to learn to stop posting shit you know nothing about. By the way, how many blacks have you hired?
>>> Oh, the reading is more than enough. Only one. And that is an interesting story. Did part time as a Corporate recruiter for three years, when the company made a special effort to hire Blacks. I covered Cal Tech, U of Illinois, Stanford, Oregon St, U of Washington. Looking for Computer Science, Math, Electrical and engineers. The GPA standard that came down from the top was; White kids with 3.7 or more, Black kids with 3.2 or better. All other minorities were 3.7 or better. My own group needed about 90 people, so I had personal interest in hiring. One Black guy with a CS at Washington and one Math guy from Stanford with the 3.2. But neither was really interested and did not accept the offers to come interview with managers at the Lab. About the same results with White kids with GPA over 3.7. Not really interested, where as many were interested with GPAs 3.2 - 3.5 but rules prohibited hiring them. After my disappointing attempts to fill our own staffing, I persuaded a black lady manager in my group to take on the task the next year. But she could not find any either. The one I hired, was not via campus recruiting and not when Corporate dictated standards. He was brought to my attention by another manager in the Lab where I worked, a black guy who knew the kid. Yep, a marine, that made his way through U, Cal at Berkeley to get a CS degree. Don't remember what the hell his GPA was but then I did not have Corporate dictates to deal with either.
Sadly this is how older marines think. All of what I heard mar say is exactly what my grandfather would say and sound like. Nothing about it is tough or respectable. All because I said fool and marine in the same sentence. It’s ridiculous really. Nothing you can do about it though, mar was brainwashed to think like this much like my grandfather. Is what it is
