I just told you the only thing he is dumb for is for telling these jokes in 2018 especially at the university of Portland. However he said nothing about raping anybody. He basically made a joke campaigning for white girls to have sex with Indian guys. Nothing about rape, nothing violent or even violating. Sure he can be a moron for telling the jokes but to say he went up there and said things he didn’t and go act like he was serious is just ridiculous.

THAT is all true. All fine and dandy. Has nothing to do with his words being called violent.

I don't think we have video of his speech yet (which seems unbelievable) but I did read one article where he supposedly said women owe him sex. I'm not sure if he did say that or make any rape jokes.

Either way, his speech still isn't violence. Someone is going to become violent with one of these kids to show them the difference one day and it won't be pretty.

Words are not now and have never been the same thing as violence. They can incite violence but they aren't violence.

We don’t. That’s why I wish there was video of it in full context and tone. To me it sounds like he was trying to be funny and do this award show monologue funny thing but obviously he isn’t that funny which is why he plays tennis. Also, we are taking quotes word for word from a girl who claims she was shaking from these words you shouldn’t shake from and she felt violated. So who knows. It’s all stupid. We live in a simulation

You know I can agree with @crandc that he should've been stopped sooner.
Also, If he submitted his speech, and it was approved. Heads need to roll.

    But my question is...
Does every single person who takes the mic after this lone idiotic boy in this specific room on that night. Need to voice their displeasure and condemn the boy for his actions?
Do we as a society let this one boy, further ruin the night by allowing his words to put a halt to the award ceremony?
Or, can one or two people say what needs to be said. Then allow the ceremony to move on with honoring the student athletes?
Frankly, with your posts. And the part of the authors post I quoted earlier. That's what it seems like what you, and the author of the article want to everyone and anyone who steps up to the mic to condemn the boy.

I fully understand his thoughts aren't just lone by himself. There are other people in this world who believe the same way.
But to allow him to be the center of attention after his idiotic words were condemned. Further accomplishes his goal, to make the ceremony all about him.

Show him the door, condemn him and then get back to honoring the female & male student athletes who worked so hard to get to where they are.

Again, if he submitted his speech before hand, and it was approved by admins. Those admins need to face serious job consequences.

The girl has the same temper problem I've had most of my life. I would get a physical reaction to my anger. Had to cry or smash something or someone to get it out.

If I somehow weathered the storm I'd have to twist my head until my neck cracked and I'd feel better.

The issue is she didn’t have a temper. She was shaking like she was in fear or something. It really makes me wonder what these kids are gonna do when they grow up and actually experience some crazy shit in their lives. If some Indian guy who says “go brown, it will turn your frown upside down” makes you shake and feel like you have been violated and that it was violence against women, then you’re in for a real fuckin treat when some real life shit happens. I’m 26 talking about people a few years younger than me and calling them kids. That’s the ridiculous part. Unfortunately that’s what they act like. It’s like what I said about people throwing out the word racist everywhere, what happened when the real tiki torch racists came out? That word didn’t mean shit anymore. So what happens when she really sees violence against women? It seems society is just making this stuff mean less and less. I wish this girl would go tell a woman who has been abused or raped her little sob story about an Indian kid telling inappropriate jokes and saying she was also a victim of violence against women and felt violated. It’s absurd

It’s another reason why feminism and this whole way of thinking is toxic. The wage gap myth, all that shit. You want real oppression. Look at the Middle East and how women are treated there. They get beat and if they speak up or go to the police, they get beat some more and told their husband was probably right. They have to wear their hijab. They can’t show anything. No freedom. You’re just a slave to your husband. Now that’s some fucked up shit worth fighting for. When it comes to these American women doing this shit, fuck them and their little pussy hats. No wonder they are single.

Come on now, the only reason you know the name "Jimmy Kimmel" is because you watch Hannity. You've never seen his show, or know what any of his monologues look like or sound like. You said his name so you would feel like you fit in.

And a month or so later it turned out his outrage and speech had been triggered by a hoax (a lie), and no discrimination had occurred at all.

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/11/0...r-superintendent-lauded-for-tough-speech.html

A racist message posted outside an Air Force Academy dorm in September was written by one of the alleged victims, the school confirmed Tuesday, casting blaring initial coverage of the incident -- which lauded the school superintendent's forceful reaction in an apparent bid to ding President Trump -- in a new light.

The student who wrote the slurs, which were discovered in September outside the rooms of five black students at an Air Force Academy dormitory in Colorado Springs, Colo., was no longer at the school, the Academy confirmed. A spokesman declined to say whether the student withdrew or was expelled, citing privacy laws. The student’s name was not released.

In a written statement Tuesday, the academy said: "We can confirm that one of the cadet candidates who was allegedly targeted by racist remarks written outside of their dorm room was actually responsible for the act. The individual admitted responsibility and this was validated by the investigation."

The surprising announcement was a jarring turn in an episode that prompted the superintendent of the Colorado Springs academy to deliver a stern message warning students that racists were not welcome at the school.

Wow, quoting the hate-spewing bully Emma doesn't help your case at all, but you're two peas in a pod.

    I do know many women.

None of them would agree with you. There is no statement of violence in the speech. None.

Mostly, he seems awed by women.

Has anyone ever told dviss1 there isn't any racism?

If so, I missed that post.

Many people have told him he sees racism in everyone and everything, but only racism against his particular race.

That's a pretty valid criticism of his posts.

Apparently crandc says we tell dviss there isn't racism in the world. I never knew we did that but maybe we don't and she's just making shit up.

Besides, Portland ain't even doing it right. This is way smarter racism

Sadly, long ago I watched several episodes of The Man Show, where an unknown JK made his name showcasing his deep-seated misogyny, his homophobia, his racism, his pedophilia...

One of the most disgusting human beings ever, paid to just be himself. "Humor" for mentally-deficient haters.

I've seen some of his recent stuff and he hasn't changed at all.

Whether her upbringing or her schooling failed her, Olivia Sanchez is a tragically damaged girl, afraid of her own shadow, and likely will be needing all kinds of social services to guide her through the next 7 or so decades until she dies in "the home".

I really don't see her ever being able to function as a productive member of society.
