I’m on this bandwagon. I’m curious what the return on CJ looks like though, we may be dissatisfied with his worth around the league.

He's been here for like 6 years and they've only gotten out of the first round once not counting the Clippers injury meltdown. That's a really long time in the nba for a team that's never a contender.

Any coach who lets a raw, untested rookie like Zach Collins win or lose the game for us, have seeming free reign to launch 3s, and play extended minutes is ripe for firing.

Would Pop allow that, or game plan that? Would Kerr?

I voted yes. We had a halftime lead and lost it because the Pelicans made better adjustments. Lillard disappeared but Stotts got out coached again.

Waiting for Lillard to come to Terrys defense and label people criticizing him 'Don't know what they are talking about. Terrys one of the best coaches in the league'.
Well of course he is - he lets yourself and the rest of the team just jack whatever the hell you come up with on any given play.
    The Stotts offense produces Jack-Shit.

Man! I was all cool to give Terry a break, but after hearing Nurk could have played, and after we were tied, the Pels got every rebound down the stretch, i'm pissed. Prepare to get a new coach. Unacceptable to not play Nurk if available. THEY got every freakin' rebound.

I'm not seeing anything from Stotts in this playoff series that many high school coaches couldn't come up with....roll the ball out and take whatever shots you feel like even when you aren't shooting well.

Stotts should go, he’s a great players coach but I think this team needs a coach who has been deep in the playoffs before.....they also need to trade anything/everything not named Dame for Kawhi.

Stotts needs to go because his offensive and defensive philosophy doesn't work against better teams. It's fine against also rans or against average teams especially at home but against quality teams that move the ball to get good shots and play a little defense?

The 'anyone can chuck it up....we just need to make shots' offense is a joke.

Honestly I am not terribly concerned anymore at this point, the guy needs to go. This experiment is being exposed for what it truly always was, which is that they are incompatible.

The only three players worth keeping are lillard, nurk, and Collins. Imo what Paul needs to do is fire Stotts and Olshey, and get the best return possible on the players not mentioned above.

He was toatally out-coached and embarrassed tonight. Do his teams ever really seem like they’re prepared? Pels play smart while Blazers keep dozing off in front of the rim. Sad, but Pels will sweep. Bye!

Eh...I don't think we're losing this series because of Stotts. Playoff intensity is exposing our talent deficit. It starts at the top with Dame and CJ. I'm not sure why they're not shooting better. I suspect they're gassed, recalling how Roy would note how much harder it was for him to score in the playoffs. Difference is, he still found a way. Unless Dame gets hot the remainder of the series and drops a few 40 point games, I think the cred he worked so hard to elevate this year is going to take a hit. Holiday is clearly out-playing him so far. CJ is who we thought he is. He's a 3rd or 4th best option on a championship contender, and the 2nd best player on a championship pretender.

If a talent like Brad Stevens is available, by all means dump Stotts. That's probably not happening. Even if we get swept, I do think Stotts is still trending up. The team obviously improved from last season and guys like Harkless, Pat, Napier, Ed...even Nurk, all improved as well. The defense isn't championship worthy, but it's light years ahead of the last two seasons. That said, I fear we'll flatline next season if we bring back the same roster. The way we're built, Dame and CJ have to be consistent outside shooters for the offense to hum, because the kick out guys aren't going to consistently make teams pay with CJ and Dame's drives. I mean...nothing new here...same issues everyone complains about. Need a true 3D threat...a more talented and dangerous bench threat than Napier....would be cool to have an athletic 7 footer as well who can roll, catch and dunk off lobs from our penetrators. Eh...

After losing both home games Management can legitimately can his ass. Nurk cannot matchup on AD. We missed shots by a razor thin margin. Why did we favor the inside game? Because threes were contested and most shots were fails.
