I oppose the death penalty but I hope those parents go after him for every penny of his ill gotten gains.

People are entitled to opinions, I think we all learned that in kindergarten. The fact you want a person to die for having a dissenting opinion makes you unhinged and irrational. You'd make a fine dictator. We all have kids dude, quit using the fact that you're a parent as an excuse to kick and scream and demand someone be shot, it's piss poor justification.

That wasn't an opinion. that was pure stupidity and insensitive.

I disagree. It was stupidity and insensitive, but it was still an opinion. A dumb, jackass opinion. He deserves to have all his listeners turn their backs on him (they won't) but that's it. Unfortunately there are too many stupid people in this nation.

No, not just an opinion. The parents have gotten death threats from Jones listeners who believe his shit. A woman went to jail for stalking and plotting to kill them. They get hate mail to this day. Actions have consequences and free speech has never included slander. If he gave an opinion that there should be no gun control and that mass killings are the price of "freedom" I'd disagree but that's an opinion. A shitty opinion but an opinion. Slander and falsification aren't.

yes as a parent it angers me beyond measure. It doesn’t for you. Fine. I’m not unhinged and irrational. I have zero tolerance for him and what he says and the expense of parents who’s kids were just killed. You have some tolerance. Congrats?

    O
And let's not act like I want someone to die 'because they have a dissenting opinion', like I think the Blazers should trade CJ McCollum and you don't so you should die. Maybe look at the actual filth we're talking about instead of making general statements to fit your narrative. I'd be a fine dictator, yeah. Totally. If that means that people like Alex Jones who say shit that targets these people is a waste of space, then sure, sign me up. World would be a better place, period.

Alex Jones didn't kill those kids. Even if he fully embraced those conspiracy theories (I doubt he did, he just covered them) you wouldn't be justified in saying he should be dead. What you are doing is taking the anger that should be directed toward the killer and directing it elsewhere because the killer is dead. Having misguided suspicions or theories is not the same as murdering children.

I haven't read 99 percent of what Alex Jones said about Sandy Hook and I don't really care to. That said, you'd have to try really hard to get me to find him guilty of something or take his money from him for being a dipshit.

If he literally believes that it was all faked then there is no way I'd find him guilty of anything. So, being more of a crackpot actually works in his defense.

Alex Jones, Backtracking, Now Says Sandy Hook Shooting Did Happen

Talk show host Alex Jones has responded to a lawsuit from the parents of two children killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn. Jones has repeatedly claimed on his website, Infowars, that the shooting was staged.

In a YouTube video, Jones said he now believes the shooting really happened, and that the families are being used by the Democratic Party and the news media. Jones invited the parents onto his program for a discussion about guns.

In the past, Jones has repeatedly claimed the shooting was staged and that parents of children who died in the shooting are actors.

The plaintiffs are the parents of Jesse Heslin and Noah Pozner, who were among the 20 students and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School who died in the shooting. They’re seeking at least $1 million from Jones. The lawsuit alleges Jones’s misinformation led conspiracy theorists to make death threats against the families of shooting victims.

That actually makes a lot of sense, you have changed my opinion on the matter.

And let's not forget the man who went armed to a pizza parlor in DC because Jones said Hillary Clinton and John Podesta were running a child sex trafficking ring from the basement of a building that had no basement.

It wouldn't be a secret basement if everyone knew about it.
