Bump... First two real tests of the season and we are getting blown out as usual but people were already overreacting when they saw that we were 1st in the standings after few games against scrappy teams mostly at home... There's fucking no hope for this franchise, I still can't believe everybody has their seat after last year's playoffs, only in Portland...
To the OP. It has more to do with Portland not being able to sign a top FA. Championships are won by teams that have a top 1-4 player on their roster. We can't get that, other than the draft but we always seemed to get Oden'd.
What? We already played Milwaukee. You wanna talk about overreacting? Its saying some whiny crap like this.. How Portland has an above-.500 record against teams over .500 but have lost their only two "tests" of the season (one of which is a team they already beat) is dumb. You're never here when the team does bad, and only here to whine and complain when they do bad. What's even the point for you? Why even pay attention with that mindset?
