Any remake, sequel, or prequel of a classic will fucking suck. How have people not picked up on this yet?
In statistics, we would call that an outlier and would disregard it in our findings. Just sayin. hahaha.

Wait, so Macchio and Zabka are now soccer dads who still hold grudges over what happened 33 years ago? Nah
Finished episode 8 or 9 last night. It is actually really good. I love how the characters are so much more developed and complex than they use to be, and watching the bully recover from a lifetime of being a looser is great.
Sucks you have to have YouTube Red. If you don't you can still watch it but the show gets interupinte every minute/ thirty seconds. Hopefully it will make it to Netflix at some point.
Youtube red free trial it for a week (or was it a month?). Youtube red is actually pretty awesome since you get full access to the google music library also. Its also only $8 a month or $15 for a family pass. I didnt intend on keeping it for long when I signed up, just wanted to hear the new APC album, but I love it now.
I just finished it last night and Im a dork but I loved it! I also only thought the original Karate Kids were just ok. The new Karate Kid has just enough 80s/90s cheese to make you smile and makes fun of itself and kids today. The part where Johnny is making fun of the millennial loser kids who are new in his dojo is freakin hilarious. Character development is great now also, Daniel is now the bully sort of, each charter is good and bad which can change from each episode depending on the perspective of who the story is the focus of. They rehash some of the old Karate Kid moments also and from Johnnys perspective Daniel is a bully and an asshole who is moving in on the love of his life. The end of the season was perfect also, great set up for next season.
