There are no more important games. The Blazers were eliminated.

In my opinion, anyone who argues with riverman is wrong. Riverman is awesome fan, older guy, focuses on the positive, and loves the team. If you debate that, you're on the wrong side.

Like, should've had surgery injuries? How long ago did they occur?
It would definitely explain the series/how the season ended for the two of them.

I know no one wants to hear it but it for sure had an impact. Not sure if surgery needed today for either. But neither one was in good shape for a game 5

Yeh, like to Stotts: " Why did it take you until the fourth game to make adjustments to what NO was doing defensively?"

So, it looks like Turner was the only one who had the guts to say something about developing an identity outside Dame and CJ. Even then he seemed afraid of stepping on toes; only suggesting they practice something during the season (that would apparently involve sharing the ball more), just in case they needed it in the playoffs. Why couldn't someone suggest an offense that involved more players, more passing, more assists etc. and suggest how this might be the best way to develop the skills and confidence of the other players besides the big two? I can't believe no one ever even thinks about this.....

I do and it's the biggest reason why I want a new coach.

I should have said "no one on the team".

I predicted we were about a 50-55 win team last offseason, before we traded Crabbe.

If Collins makes a jump next year I think 50-55 wins is possible. He already has such an unselfish game, if he could get consistent with his shot and continue to physically mature, he’s a game changer. His development is pretty much the key to this current group.

If Olshey can sign and/or use the TPE to bring in more offensive talent, I don’t see anything that would prohibit this team from making a jump. I’ve seen comments about Terry’s “philosophy” but he’s never discouraged unselfish basketball. When we had Aldridge we played through the post and shared the ball. With the current group, Terry is almost forced into letting Dame and CJ toss up whatever shot, because they’re the only ones that he can rely on. Everyone else is defensive minded with offensive deficiencies. That’s on Neil. Now Terry isn’t completely innocent (ie not trusting Nurk) but it’s not something I see as prohibitive, or something he couldn’t fix.

I’m not against another coach, probably even prefer it, but I’d much rather fire Olshey than Stotts.

Olshey made a team that you are predicting to win 50-55 games next year but you want to fire him?

Can you explain to me how that makes sense?
