So I have had a theory for the last few years. And to me, it has proven correct time after time after time again.What places do you have to go to, that there are always crazy stupid lines? Think about it. Then think about who is working behind the counter. The majority of the time they are all women. Now, I love my women. I love them a lot. And I hate to sterotype an entire group of people, because obviously they aren't ALL slow..but I swear the majority of them are.I'll go to a secretary of state, and they'll be 5 desks(4 women). My number will be say, 45..they will be on say 30. There is no reason why with 5 counters I should not be going in 10 minutes. But instead these women, TALK..they talk so dang much..to their co-workers..to their customers..just constant gab. They will walk back and forth past the same thing a few times instead of doing it all at once..they will stare at their computer like they dont understand what it's doing. And meanwhile the guy's like is on the 3rd to 4th person.Same thing everytime I go to the Post Office...which I went today. I was there for a half hour, with 3 women working and about 7 people in front of me. Ask me how, but I have no idea what these chicks were doin.Now..I'm not saying lets fire all the women for being slow and not give them jobs. Them having jobs means more to them then an extra 10-20 minutes means to me. But I'm just stating what I'm noticing and how sometimes it gets annoying.You guys might not agree at this point..but pay attention the next few times you go places. Guys are moving and getting stuff done quickly. The Women are talking and going at their own pace. Also please no I'm not referring to anything other then counter people and those types of jobs..
Well, it seems like women work the counters more than men. But I can't say I have noticed anything like this.
Women take longer with everything, getting ready to go out, to eat, to end a damn conversation...and they defiently take longer to...you know...than men do.But seriously, I think its just the jobs most women have. Being at a counter all day, your probably not going to try your hardest and fastest with every customer.
I've never noticed this but I do know that (around here anyway) around 90% of people that work the counters are women.

The young women just take their jobs extremely lightly and rely on looks to keep their jobs.
Most of the time - Combs, you are right.Another thing that's even worse - and no, I'm not going to try to sound politically correct...Woman are bad enough, but try black woman. From what I've experienced, not only do you get to wait an extra 10 minutes just because they talk too much - but you also get a nice little serving of attitude. That is the absolute worst.

We look at the receipt. she thought we payed 200. so we got it for like 40. my dad was nice and tried to tell her(he doesn't no english well), but it turns our she forgot to give us our coin change, and we got a few more cents. So I was like.. uhh lets just go.
Ok, Combs. I hear you on the women thing. And you are right.....women tend to gab a bit more. It's like that EVERYWHERE you go? Man....maybe these women just need a firecracker lit under their rears to speed them up a bit. I do have to add that men gab just as much as women do, though. Yes, they do.

An instinctive point is made contradictory to logical clarity. I do it all the time.I gab at work too. I worked at this Dunkin' Donuts in Atlanta once. During morning rush, I would run my yap and run my arms and run my legs to keep the line running, but the only time my tip cup was full was when I popped a woman's car door open with a bread knife when she locked her keys inside. I felt the pressure of the rush and couldn't help but respond.The girl working next to me never said a word. She was slow as she was quiet even during the rush; like winter molasses in a snow storm, but her tip cup was full every day. She was fine, though.I think women just take it easy when they get used to a job and they know that advancement isn't on the horizon. I can understand that. I mean, what, she's gonna become head counter girl? If you're not getting rewarded for speeding up, why bother?

at McDizzles today for lunch...there was like 30 people waiting in line and only had 2 chicks(and by chicks I mean 50 year old toothless ladies) working the register. I was soo pissed the manager gave me a free 20 piece Nugget.

Even though it was a dumb mistake on her part you should've given it back.
