We're all pulling for Bird but I'd have to say that the Yankees are not hurting with Tyler Austin in there . The man probably knows his shit is in the wind when Bird gets back but he's done one hell of a job.
What I am really liking about these Yankees, on any given day or night anyone in this lineup can put the screws on opponent pitchers. Thank goodness Ellsbury is an injured tool who’ll be earning his money on the pines.....to me, this dude is no Yankee, both on the field and off.
