Here is a link from yahoo.http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Va...s?urn=nba,29427What do all of you guys think? I would not mind that he can really help of the bench knock some 3's down for Denver.
I think that would be a good pick-up for Denver offensively, because they really need shooters to stretch the defense. Sure, Kleiza and JR Smith provide that, but they aren't too consistent. KVH would provide a legit shooting threat who could grab a few rebounds and a little bit of a post game. The only thing is that he isn't that great of a defender, and if the Nuggets are really going to shop Camby this summer like the reports say, then their biggest priority would be to bring in defensive players.

It would be a big trade-off... you would get a good shooter but not much else. Keep in mind that he is also an inconsistent shooter.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I wonder what we can get for Martin + a first next season?</div>Brian Scalabrine? Haha. Seriously though who wants Martin, nobody knows if this guy is going to be at all capable of playing well consistently and he has 4 seasons and $58 Million left on his contract after this year.
I've seen Van Horn play many of times, in person as well as on TV with the Knicks and Nets [both from my area]...He isn't a good player...at all. His 3 point game is totally overrated, the stats lie. His three's come at times when you never need them (either down 30 or up 20)...Like people have said, he is VERY inconsistent as well. His defense is terrible, and the only positive I gotta say about him is that he can take the ball off the dribble mroe than people think.Overall, he is extremely overrated and has been a total bust ever since he's entered the league.

If we send him and a pick we can get something good back he is not bad you act like he is bad.

The first couple games of the season mean nothing statistically, he couldn't put up those numbers for an entire year. For what it's worth, Danny Fortson averaged 16 points and 16 rebounds per game before being injured a few years ago. The problem was, he only appeared in 6 games. He wouldn't be able to keep up those numbers for an entire season either, it means nothing.Statistics prove that we are better off without Kenyon Martin, our record without him is alot better than it is with him in the lineup.</span>

I think Kenyon Martin could have a big impact for Denver, assuming he stays healthy. His best years were in New Jersey running alongside JKidd in that up-tempo offense. If Karl gives Iverson the point guard duties, and turns this into a run-and-gun team, I think Martin could possibly get back to playing that way. But the key with him is health. In terms of potential trades, I don't think any general manager in the league would be willing to give up too much for him. The only one would probably be Isiah Thomas, but I don't think the Nuggets would benefit with any of the Knicks players that would come back in that trade scenario.

You won't get much at all for K-Mart so just forget his past stats, the dude has been injured many times and that effects his value as a player a lot.and for Keith Van Horny, um he's not the best but probley one of the top free agents out there and if the nuggets are looking to add somthing extra on offense, go for it.
We all know the Knicks will take KMart. As for Van Horn, he could either come up huge for us in the playoffs or just do horrible.
