Too bad "Kawhi" doesn't sound more like "Homeless." And yet, it worked out quite well for Memphis. It parallels the forum's reaction to Indiana taking OKC's offer for Paul George instead of our supposedly much better one, but OKC's ended up being a pretty good haul.
...ha, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to draw the parallels and insert homeless into that conversation! #PortlandHomelessMatters
To fix that, He WAS an MVP caliber player. Doesnt mean he will still be. I agree. Its not a no brainer. Eveyr single aspect would need to be scrutinized to minimize the chance that he wont be the same player he once was. I Also agree that we need to maintain Dame's happiness.
I think this would actually be a pretty fair trade. (And certainly the best that San Antonio is likely to be offered.)
Yes. Just read the posts from others. Really though, we do have the pcs. Whether we would give them up or not is another story, but we could give up dam and cj and nurk and collins and our picks and SA would be foolish not to do it. We would be foolish to do it, yes. Not realistic. But what would be a realistic trade and what would you be willing to give up for him>
I would expect something like this to be offered by the Sixers. I could maybe see Covington being thrown into the deal to make the cap space to try and get LeBron in the free agency, maybe instead of Saric.
