    I picked up on this while looking at some stats. (I know it will eventually change but it's still very odd);

...Not surprisingly, the Miami Marlins' home attendance is the worst in MLB. (a paltry 11,225 fans per game)

But on the road as of now, the Marlins attendance is the very best in MLB. ( 36,059 per game )

^^^^^^Weird. Knowing that home fans are showing no interest, but team draws on the road.???
Maybe it’s the home teams playing the Marlins that are drawing crowds? I just think attendance
at the ballparks are skewed. To me baseball attendance does not look very high.
Watching recap of yesterday’s games, I noticed many empty seats in the ball parks. MLB
says attendance is up. Hard to believe!

I'll bet Floridians still like Bloody Mary drinks at 4:30 and all the buffet they can eat. Baseball gets in the way of their pampered lives. giphybaseyball.gif

I don't know? However, it is a unique way to score. Reminds me of baseball version of TWISTER.

    Very odd indeed.

1st, Miami can't blame the cold weather for low home attendance at home; which had some impact in Northern Outdoor Stadiums. Strong rains don't deter Miami fans.

Given the history of Miami Fans in conflicts with Owners, I'd guess they're fickle, maybe naive to the rebuilding process of a hopefully well constructed team over the long haul. Miami fans often don't like to wait it seems. Even during Championship Years with the Marlins, Dolphins, even the NHL Panthers, each teams owners complained Miami Fans don't support their teams successes by ticket sales, or paying for new stadiums. A rift seems to have always existed b/t Miami Fans and their teams, ntm- the voting to increase taxes to pay for stadiums many don't want. I'm not sure, but don't know how Miami Heat fares amongst Miami sports/fans...

I personally wouldn't want to see t/Marlins; would rather watch any AL game/team, but IF I were going to watch a NL game at t/NL ballpark, I'd much rather get tickets to about any other Team than t/Marlins. I can watch Minor League ball right here in town, and don't care to follow t/one in Miami.

but- over the long haul, I wish Jeter successes, (never at the Yanx expense).

not sure how many other teams do this but I am pretty sure that the Mets have a tiered system in regards to ticket prices.
not sure how much ticket reduction would be but i wouldnt pay full face value to a Yankee Marlin game

Just wanted to add that “I love going to minor league baseball games.” Atmosphere is so relaxed, cheaper and everyone,
    players included, are more cordial.

Concessions reasonable, parking free or cheap, tickets directly behind homeplate field level $12-... Veteran ballplayers for coaches, up n coming prospects; and tons of autographs available.

Ambience included... experience for kids priceless...!

Wow, so little in life is free. The only free thing at the big gay I mean Big A or Chavez Ravine is the use of the toilets...

Just one of the many perks that make the Yankees the greatest team on Earth...!!
