I think Screamin' A is just a loud mouth in general regardless of the opinion he's spouting. In this case I have to say, although I don't watch him much, that's about as reserved and respectful as I've ever seen him. Tells me he respects CJ a lot. And his opinion on the matter is as good as anyone's; just as is CJ's.

Some of you give way too much credit to these espn and sports guys. They are characters who have to fill a certain role to claw at ratings. Stephen A is known for his rants. That’s his character. Skips character is known for his Lebron hate fest no matter how good Lebron is doing. Unfortunately they do this more so as an act and I highly doubt in real life these guys play these roles and if they do then they most definitely play it up on tv

 

He's a loudmouth. Whether he's right or wrong doesn't impact that. They don't call him "Screamin' A" for nothing...

 

I think he sees C.J. as a future peer. As well spoken, intelligent and poised as C.J. is, there is no doubt in my mind that he will have a very successful broadcasting career once he retires from playing. Hell, he may even end up being Steven A.'s boss.

I do not think SAS or CJ are wrong. There is more than one path to a point. Thought SAS brought up a great point that if you subtract CJ or Dame, the other player would probably get better since they would pick up the slack. CJ made a great point in that you stay the same since it would probably be a lateral move.

I just hope that if a blockbuster were offered for CJ that Neil would not consider it and is determined to make the Dame/CJ pairing work. Does not sound like he is even listening to offers though.
