It's funny that the only team you give any credit to is the team that will most likely win the championship. Guess 29 teams are all mediocre or just plain suck.
I didn't realize this- "Interestingly enough, Toronto’s President Masai Ujiri also fired George Karl after Karl was named Coach of the Year in 2013 with the Denver Nuggets, when Ujiri was the Executive VP of that franchise." From the BE article
"Plateaued", probably, but that's why the "GM" has to continue tweaking the roster to get it right. I doubt another coach gets anymore out of that roster. It's all about adding talent till you get it right. The same goes for Neil in Portland. Changing the coach in Toronto seems silly to me. The GM is scapegoating Casey.
It's a shame no one was smart enough to start a thread covering all of the coaching changes around the NBA. That way we could go to one spot for all the info. How stupid are we?
Mediocre is actually kind of up for how ever you want to interpret it. But yes it seems he feels mediocre includes quite a few more teams than many. Not that it is wrong. I just don't happen to agree on where that line is drawn.
