Were you not paying attention to the league from 1999-2004? THOSE were boring drags of seasons.</div>What? Those years, at least the playoffs, had some of the greatest series' of all time. There were actual rivalries, Lakers Kings, Spurs Lakers, Knicks Heat, Pacers Knicks, Pistons Nets. That was a great 5 years of basketball. This year was all right, I'd say it was about an average season for me (but the Lakers didn't do well so that had a lot to do with it).

Now the league's level of play is skyrocketing and taking off into interesting innovative directions.

For all those of you that said the All Star weekend was something to remember, it wasn't. Everything from the dunk contest to the actual game itself became boring, and no one was trying anymore, infact to me, the last good all star weekend was the 2004 one, with Josh Smith and Jason Richardson in the dunk off. After that, the last 3 have been so boring.

The Suns-Mavs game was my top memory of the season. Nothing else really came close at all to that. That was an amazing game to watch with the two best teams going at it. The Nets game was also great, but it didn't mean as much since they were a team that we were supposed to beat.
