I'll start with my keys for the warriors series in no particular order1) Force tempo. The Mavericks think they can run, but they can't. If we can get them into a running game they don't have the speed or firepower to compete. We have to do this early in the series to get them tired.2) Don't shoot too many three pointers; the warriors team is average at best at threes, yet we often live and die by the three. If we take it to the hoop we won't get as severely disadvantaged in the fouls category every game.3) Baron must play team ball. Baron may take it to his head that he is going to do all the heroics by himself, and as a result take those bad threes that we all know about. If he does this I guarantee we lose.4) Stephen Jackson must keep this up. Jackson has been averaging 17-5 with us, with many 25-7-7 nights. If he can make the matchup with Josh Howard an even one, that will be good in our favor.5) Biedrins must never see the court. Just like Kurt Thomas for the Suns, Biedrins is not a bad player but he makes us stop running and when we stop running we stop winning. Whenever he sees the court we lose a bunch of our lead.6) Harrington tempts Dirk into playing on the perimeter. You can't stop Dirk, but if you can make him act like 2003 dirk, as Harrington does, you can definitely help your cause.7) The players don't take the playoffs and the run to their heads. We have a squad of guys who have never been to the playoffs, including J-rich who has the longest career of any non-playoff player. We can't let them try too hard and take bad shots.8) Don Nelson is able to exploit a team that still has traces of his DNA. One has to hope.9) Steals are key. The mavericks are a very efficient team, and stealing the ball from them will be tough, even for the best stealing team in the league. Steals fuel our fast break, and we need lots of them to get confidence and momentum.10) Early lead. This warriors team is not a clutch one, and needs to get ahead early so that they can hold on when the mavs come back.
I can't think of 10 but the most important key in the Mavs/Warriors series is the Mavs have to force their tempo of play and not run n gun with the Warriors. Some others would be transistion defense and making an concerted effort towards driving and not relying on jumpshots.
1) Go inside, challenge Yao. get him into foul trouble. than go after Dikembe and get him into foul trouble. Doing this will probably result in 10 block shots per game, but it will also likely result in 60-70 ppg in the paint, plus it takes away Yaos points on the other end.2)DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ALLOW DEREK FISHER TO SHOOT.3)Make Free throws4)Do not turn the ball over.5)Don't let T-Mac get warm from the outside. The Jazz biggest weekness this year is their inability to gaurd shooters/slasher like T-Mac. the Jazz have given up 5 50 point games already this season, they don't need to give up another one.6)Keep Giricek healthy. if he's healthy the Jazz play really well. when he isn't they suck.7)Do not put Dee Brown, Ronnie Brewer, Matt Harpring, Paul Millsap and Jarron Collins on the floor at the same time. they don't play defense, and they don't score. this lineup cost the Jazz home court.8)Feed Carlos Boozer the ball. He's one of the best low post players in the league, USE HIM. Feed Andrei as well, not the ball feed him food so he gets bigger.9)Kidnap Yao Ming, and Tracy McGrady.10)defend the three point line.10 Keys for Atlanta Hawks fans1)Buy tickets to the Heat2)Buy antidepresents3) what the hell am I doing? there are no Hawks fans.
1) Exploit the post, Cleveland sucks at post defense.2) Finish out games, we've stayed in every single game but not been able to pull away at the last few possesions.3) Defense! You gotta play the least bit of defense if we wanna be succesful.4) Antawn Big Games!!!!!!!!!!5) NO MICHEAL RUFFIN, he has no offensive game whatsover.6) RUN RUN RUN! We can get Cleveland into an uncomfortable pace.7) Antonio Daniels has to represent bowlin green. We need some Nash out of Antonio.8) 8 man rotation, we are one of the best conditioned teams in the NBA. We don't need Roger Mason Jr. and Mike Hall on the floor.9) Brendan Haywood/Etan Thomas, these two will need to contribute greatly on rebounds/altering shots.10) CROWD! F*ck LEBRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REMATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the Rockets-1) Get T-Mac going early and have set plays which get him into proper scoring position. If T-Mac is hot, the series will be a quick one.2) The offense must be be run through Yao, but never come to a halt once Yao gets the ball. This is the biggest reaosn why the Rockets have been so good since his return....they haven't been so pro-Yao.3) Play defense like it has been played all year. Defense wins a playoff series, and the Rockets are capable of playing some of the best D in the league.4) Do not let any of the opposing stars go off. By this, I mean Boozer can't be averaging 30/12, or Williams going for 23/10.5) Give Rafer severe lashings with a spiked whip to cement into his tiny brain that he must keep the tempo at the Rockets' pace and to not take stupid shots early in the shot clock.6) Keep the flow, tempo and attitude the same it has been all year. A big reason great teams fail in the playoffs is due to playing outside of their comfort zone and trying to do too much. Rockets won 52 games, and went 21-10 without Yao...they can win this series doing what they have done the whole year.7) Keep pressure on the Jazz the whole game. The Rockets have a tendency to give up leads, and while they usually still win, you can't take those chances.8) Jeff Van Gundy has to let the offense stay free, especially when it comes to T-Mac and Yao. At any time on the floor, they will be the 2 best players on either team. They are superstars, so give them the freedom to play to their abilties.9) Play a tight rotation, but throw John Lucas into the lineup. He tends to give the team instant energy and some surprising scoring. He can be useful when the offense gets stale.10) Play with pride.

For the Pistons -1. Use all weapons.2. Exploit the team where they are weak, because pretty much every player in our starting lineup is capable of it.3. Dont underestimate teams.4. Play 4 quarters of ball.5. Control the pace.6. Dont wear out starters too much. Bench can play solid too.7. Get Billups into a groove.8. When playing teams with a big Center or power forward, pull them out of the paint with Sheed or CWebb9. Tayshaun - attack, attack, and attack more.10. The most important and ovbious - WIN.
