On Thursday, Kevin McHale said that Randy Wittman will remain head coach of the Timberwolves and that he doesn't plan on trading Kevin Garnett. Minnesota finished the season 32-50 and missed out on the playoffs for the third consecutive season. "We're going to try to make some trades," he said. "It was a bad season," McHale added. "There's no other way you can say it. It starts with me."http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/457..._is_to_keep_kg/How much longer will he F*ck his career up?

The T-Wolves could easily be one of the best teams in the league in the future if they traded Garnett for some young guys and some picks and then Drafted the right people in those drafts in the years to come. But for some reason they just won't let KG go. I get it. KG is loyal and has been for the past 10 years! They need to do this guy a favor out of respect and let him go somewhere where he can win a title before its to late and then later on retire his jersey and let him go out a winner. He deserves it.

People need to stop taking every single one of these quotes seriously. McHale obviously has to keep saying he doesn't want to trade him. As soon as McHale says Garnett is being heavily shopped, or KG wants out, then his value drops tremendously. Then you're in a situation where everybody is low-balling and you don't get as good a deal as you should.

I would love to see KG either come to LA or New York.

I think McHale just likes f*cking around with the media. KG has been off/on in these media reports wether or not he's staying.

Yeah they keep going back and forth. One day he's being shopped, 3 days later they say they're keeping him. Moods change everyday, you just gotta wait and see. I wanna see him in orlando next to D12 somehow personally.
