    Does seem odd, but he won't be able to dodge the team workouts where his measurements will be taken. It may not be a red flag, but it should be a yellow flag as I want players that are willing to take on the challenge to sell themself and take on all challenges and I have been high on Hutchinson when I mentioned him and Bates-Diop as intriguing prospects for us.

    Well, the news was going to get out when he didn't show for the combine and that's well before the draft. I also think it would be foolish for a player to get a promise before the workouts. It's not like he's a standout type performer from a big program. He needs to sell himself.

    The thought process is to get the #9 pick for taking on Noah, no one actually wants or thinks it's a good idea to have Noah on the team.

    I still don't know why any team would promise a guy before the combine and before seeing other players in workouts too. It's not like the promising team can just hide him until the draft.
