Isn't that essentially what they're doing, hiding him before the draft?

Hutchison isn't some secret. Dude is a 4 year player. Everybody knows who he is and has scouted him extensively.

I'm not saying he's a secret. But none of the guys really are. So if you're worried about promising a guy before workouts, because workouts can make them blow up, then you can be doing the same with him. Promise him at 24, or 22, 26, etc., and say hey, you're guaranteed to not fall past us, if you cancel all your workouts. He likes the landing spot, cancels workouts, and if a team likes him before that, so be it. But if he went to workouts, and was nailing every jumper, showing amazing handle, etc., measured at the combine with a longer wingspan than expected, he could climb to 15, 14 whatever. So a team in the 20s has him shut it down, and he feels comfy with the spot.

I want to join in on making a draft trade that has no shot of happening! CJ the 24 and Zach Collins, for Buddy Heild and the #2 pick.

You shouldnt.s. you aren't able to see his promise. I guy with insanely high work ethic with a good foundation in the Spurs organization? He'd be an all-star.

It sounds like a Utah move to me. Once they are set on somebody they go for that guy, like that story about having their employees sign that they won’t reveal anything from Donovan Mitchell’s workout and plotting a move to get to lottery from the very first moment they saw him play.

On the other hand they always bring insane amount of players for workouts so it’s probably not them.

He got exposed for his lack of offense during the playoffs, I don’t think they are going to rely on him to be their main SG/SF. In fact I expect RoCo to be included in a trade package for a star if they can trade for one.

They have to take Bridges if they can. He’s a great shooter, good defender, he’s athletic. He’s from Vilanova and his mother works for Sixers. It’s literally the biggest no-brainer in the entire draft - if Philadelphia can have Mikal Bridges they must take him. He’s their chance to make up for not taking Tatum last year.

They don’t really need more bigs or small guards, a player who can play at a 2 and 3 is their main need.

    I think for lottery picks:

    1. Phoenix - Ayton
    2. Sacramento - Doncic
    3. Atlanta - Bagley
    4. Memphis - Jackson Jr
    5. Dallas - Bamba
    6. Orlando - Young
    7. Chicago - Porter
    8. Cleveland - Carter
    9. New York - Sexton
    10. Philadelphia - Mikal Bridges
    11. Charlotte - Knox
    12. LA Clippers - SGA
    13. LA Clippers - Miles Bridges
    14. Denver - Robert Williams

Also, Zhaire Smith will be traded to Kings who will agree to take on Mahinmi’s contract and will give second round picks. Wings are the new bigs for Kings.

I think Ayton, Doncic and Porter will be huge players for their new teams. Sexton could also have a huge impact if he goes to New York, he will make up for not taking Smith last year. Not sure if Bagley fits next to John Collins but Atlanta need to take the best talent available, he has crazy upside.

I don’t think the Knicks will give up on Frank the Tank so quickly.

I’m still laughing at how obvious the Hutchison/Portland thing is.
