lol, yeah, but to me that's like saying brussel sprouts are better than spinach of which I don't like either one. I do like Quick better than Canzano though but just don't see him as a reliable source.

Gotta appreciate some of his innate abilities though such as peeking through blinds and reading lips over the grassy knoll

Gary Trent jr interviews with Blazers at combine and has scheduled a workout with the Blazers in June. Lonnie Walker out of Miami also interviewed with Blazers but won't workout for the team as his agent doesn't expect him to fall to 24.

    Fuck.

Missing out on someone that could get us over the edge. Better trade up.

Agreed--he could easily be our SFoTF. I'd be fine giving up our first next year to move up.

Looks like Kevin Huerter is a lock to go 1st round after an impressive showing at the combine.

Not surprised. One of the few non-lottery talents that has the combo of positional size, IQ and potential 2-way impact. And as much as I hate on Hutch, he also fits into this category. Just feel Kevin's success at a younger age plus clearer role translation puts him ahead.

Maybe I took the Olshey interview wrong but that Quick thing might be right because to me it sounds like we might not even be keeping the pick and might be trading it for more immediate playoff help.

Yea that’s the feeling I got too. Seems like they are more likely to use the pick in a deal than they are drafting late in the first rd of a top heavy draft.

Pressures been put on and I think Olshey has been told to bring in some experienced guys that can play real minutes now.

Could happen, but I think the biggest thing I took from it was that Ed Davis is most likely done as a Blazer.

Had an inkling, but the comments about getting Zach playing around the basket more solidify it for me.

So you think his comments mean that Zach is moving to back up center with few minutes at PF? I missed that

It'd be really tempting to do that and trade CJ for as high a pick as you could.

I've looked him up now and would be A-OK with him - he strikes me as this draft's Josh Richardson.
