Lillard "may be" asking for a meeting. Just another canzano garbage article with little substance. Even if he did ask for a meeting, big deal. The other one was made into a much bigger deal than what it really was. Time for johnny to leave the Blazers alone as all he tries to do is stir the pot. Even Quick called him out last year.
When did meetings and communication become a bad thing? Team leader wants to talk to team owner: conspiracy theory at 11:00!!! BNM
A non-credible source repeating a claim by a non-credible source does not equal a credible source. Now if a third credible source repeats the claim from the two non-credible sources, well now we have a bona fide rumor. (not you Labinot. The "sauces".)
"Hi Paul, how's your day?" "Great Dame, congrats on first team!" "Thanks man. Just want to keep this line of communication open over the summer. I'll be in California a lot but if you guys are looking to make moves or acquire certain guys, I'd like to be in the loop. My phones open." "Sure Dame, I'll let Neil know to keep you updated." "Alright, have a good summer Paul". "See you in September Dame." Later that day: "- John Canzano (aka Mr. Assclown) A league-source claims Damian Lillard had a secret meeting with Paul Allen. Specifically mentioned his Californian roots, and stated that he wants the team to keep the phone lines open so they can make moves and acquire players that Dame specifically mentioned in the meeting. If they can't keep Lillard happy and meet his conditions, who knows if Lillard will stick around? We could have another LaMarcus Aldridge situation on our hands."
This is one of the most pointless conversations I have ever seen on the S2 board and it's almost 5 pages long.. The only way Dame gets traded is if he Demands a trade! Dame is the last person on the team the Blazers would trade and rightfully so.
Boom Boom can move here to Denver, and I will gladly take his place in the Rose City. And help Sly move Dame's stuff to his new castle in rip city.
I have a trick for people who want me to help them move...I tell them I love the sound of breaking glass..
I don’t have a problem with this post. Love Dame and really don’t want to trade him but I do have some concerns 1. I could see his patience growing thin if he really doesn’t have a shot to win a title (which we don’t without a blockbuster deal) 2. At some point if you don’t see us winning with the nucleus top 3-4 players on our roster we have now then yes you do have to think about making a trade. 3. Best time to trade is when value is highest. 1st team all NBA, he hasn’t requested a trade (which would lower his value) that we know about and we could potentially get a huge haul for him. That said I love Dame but if it could land us one of the top two picks in this years draft plus a good young player id have to seriously consider it
