Though it may be bright and sunny in New York it'll be Gray on the mound. Hopefully the offense will arrive in full force. Going to be interesting to see what moves the Yankees make today with Bird coming back.

Let Sonny shine in even though it is a night game. Hope he intends to lower his high ERA (5.48)
Sonny goes up against a 21 year old rookie, Jaime Barria, with a 3-1 record, 2.13 ERA
and is 2-0 on the road. Can the Yankees give Barria his first road loss of his career?

Sure hope Tyler Austin doesn't get the big pinstripe shaft today when Bird is activate Bird. I hears Austin speak of Birds value and that his (Birds) absence was the only thing keeping him up with the club. In my view Austin is a home grown product who has produced and contributed. Yankees. If he is sent down I hope he gets back up real soon.

The Yankees send Ronald Torreyes to Triple A to make room for Greg Bird. Now that's messed up.

He will be back. I see a trade happening for a starter which will alleviate this long jam a bit.

Agree Mess and I see the trade sooner than later which is better for the yanks who hopefully get the first crack at whoever the best available pitcher is and also for the team trading said pitcher as they get the first crack at the yankees available prospects and actual major league ready players.

So, who do you think Cashman trades off the parent club? Austin? Stanton? Hicks? to get
a primo pitcher? Too bad they can’t trade several relief pitchers!! Lol.

this is going to get real interesting, obtaining the proper pitcher who will pay dividends immediately and for many years to come, with I hope to hell no 'opt out clauses'. Ntm- don't sale the farm off to get said pitcher. I'd hate like hell to see several players incl Toe, Austin, even Hicks, and a few others being packaged, and would like to see t/Yanx keep these guys around, until everyone plays their hands and its obvious whose got big league talent to make a difference in a decade or more to come.

Then we have Dinglefkngberry's fat contract and no production. Trade Jacoby for anything ya' can get, even if they've got to eat a part of his contract. Ellsbury's going to break his collarbone next time the wind hits 10mph.... a slight breeze and a backache, more like a pain in t/Ass...!!!
