Game 1: Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix Suns

Lakers in 7. I'm a fan, I'm sorry. Yes, Amare's back but the Lakers have held him this season. And I think Kwame should be able to hold him down somewhat. The biggest problem last year was Smush. He was a disaster on both ends of the floor. This year we have Farmar. He'll give Nash a lot more trouble than Smush did on offense and defense. It's kind of pathetic that I'm expecting a 19 year old rookie point guard to win the series for us, but again, I'm a fan. I can't go against my team.

I see the Suns pulling this one out in 5. Kobe will do his thing, but one player cannot beat one of the most cohesive units we've seen in almost a decade.

 

<span style="font-family:Arial">I think Phoenix is going to pull this one out in 6 games, maybe even 5. I don't think people understand how much of a difference the presence of Kurt Thomas and Amare Stoudemire is going to be. The Lakers won't be taking advantage down low anymore without Boris Diaw playing center.I actually predicted the Lakers to upset the Suns last year, I'm not making that mistake again. </span>
