CC has blown 4 leads in the last 2 games he's pitched.

WTF is Rothschild gonna tell CC?...IMO, Rothschild might very well be part of the Yanx's pitching woes.

Note to Smoltz: even as good an offense as the Yankees may have, without improved pitching we won't see them in the playoff.

Its a miracle the yankees have the record they do with this starting staff minus seve that can't get thru 5 innings. The more I think about it austin should have went down instead of rizutto because its said their showcasing austin but bird is playing full time. So austin would have got everyday at bats in triple A instead of rusting away up here.

Costas doesn't have the balls to ask Gerrit Cole why he didn't sign with the Yankees in 2008; opting to attend UCLA

CC breaks up an easy DP and then throws the ball into RF.

How is it possible that no one is even up throwing in the yanks bullpen with CC at 85 pitches. Hey Boone, wake the fuck up already

Boone needs to grow a set of balls and light a fire underneath some of these guys who just seem lazy.

Actually, I'm thinking Boone may be in over his head.

They just said that the Astros have averaged striking out 11 Yankees per game over the last 2 years. That equates to nearly 4 inning per game that the Yanx didn't even put the ball in play which means they only had 5 inning to score all of their runs vs Houston.

...not exactly a good formula for success.

Torres seems to have a problem focusing while on the field. Maybe the accolades are blurring his vision, I hope not. In the last couple/few games- Baserunning error, throwing error & head not in game error.

Could not agree more. Cashman is deluding Yankee fans with the hype of the Yankee lineup & with his
inability to develop pitching in the system. What any knowledgeable Yankee fan should understand (1) good
pitching will shut down any good hitting ball club, & (2) good pitching wins ball games.

When it comes to playoff baseball, good pitching wins out over average pitching teams. And yes, the Yankees
have an average pitching staff. If there are no improvements with Yankee pitching, they may not make the
    playoffs this year.

Yankee infield is in imploding mood. Giving a good team runs is like putting nails in your own
    coffin!
