Probably. That's if, Denver would even go for the deal. We might have to send Swanigan to them in a separate deal or give them a second round draft pick or something.

Just my opinion, if we don't keep Davis here, its a miss.

I'll do it when DEN is on the clock, but not before. I'll hold out for something better for as long as possible. But yeah, if that's the best we can do then take it.

This would be great, Faried's salary for this season is $12,921,348 which I believe would fit into the Crabbe TPE if the deal is completed before or at the draft right? I think we'd have to say goodbye to Ed Davis if this happened though.

I’d do it even before Denver was on the clock. Talk to some teams picking in the lottery and see how high we can get packaging our two picks (and maybe a player.) Pretty sure these scenarios are usually discussed before the draft begins though, it just depends on how the thing plays out.

Or talk to other teams about what vet we can get for the pick(s)

Yeah, assuming we already tried for higher salary dump picks and were rejected, #14 is pretty damn good for taking on Faried. I'd take it immediately.

Then do something like Faried and 14 to NY for Noah and 9. Boom, we just got Mikal Bridges without giving up any starters and NY saves a ton of money.

Or get really ambitious and offer Faried, 14, and 24 for Biyombo and #6 or something along those lines to get Porter Jr.

    Ahhhh, I can dream right?

I would think Denver would want more than just salary relief to give up a lottery pick. They have reportedly been looking to move Faried for the past few years and now with one year left they will also give up the 14th pick? I would be shocked if it was as simple as that, but then again, it's the NBA.

Denver would probably prioritize salary relief over another rookie. They already have young players like Malik Beasley, Lydon, and hernangomez stuck at the end of the bench.

This doesn't sound like a good idea. What would prevent the other team from cutting out the middle man?

The 14th pick and Faried could probably net them a decent role player though. Looking at it from Denvers point of view I would want more.

We're the only team that can offer complete salary relief though.

I understand that part. I just don't think Denver is that desperate to also include a lottery pick. It's not like they are getting rid of a player that can't be productive at all. If I was Denver, I would give up a second round pick or high first round pick, but definitely not a lottery pick.
