I'm not sure if I should be curious why you think I'm a narcissist, or not.

Wait they actually brought this show back?
    The hell?

    I don't know what's more funny.
The fact that someone gave this lady a platform.
    Or
The fact that this thread has 242 posts in it.

Just looking for ways to be divided.
Good distraction from the actually problems this world faces tho.
    Kudo's powers that be.

People have the Constitutional right to free speech. No one has an obligation to provide anyone with a platform.

Rosanne's show is owned by the network and they can do what they want same as Google. I don't think they violated anyone's rights by choosing to can the guy.

NFL players are contract employees. That's different from a regular employee no matter how much you want to compare them to regular workers.

Comparing their protest to these firings is kinda shameful.

NOTHING in their contracts prohibit them from doing what a COMBAT VET encouraged Kaep to do. Bottom line, if you were as outraged about what they're protesting about, this wouldn't be a battle.

    Jingoism isn't patriotism.

The fact that they CAN kneel IS AMERICAN.... But we can't protest in anyway without y'all whitesplaining HOW we should...

You said it right. YOUR flag. YOUR traditions.

It never was US. Black people were never included in those "traditions"...

That flag has represented us. It's represented SLAVERY and GENOCIDE. Those are the "traditions" it represents. Even the damn anthem is racist.

So FUCK your flag and FUCK your traditions.

But but but but those contracts you speak of and their rights as Americans apparently don't apply to you. Not your flag or your traditions.

At least the angrier you get the more honest you are.

The flag has a bloody past. Yes, it represents all the terrible skeletons in our country's closet. It also represents the fight for equality and freedom for all, not just white people. It represents the civil war where whites fought with blacks to end slavery, the end of womens sufferage, the civil rights movement, the end of segregation, etc. Yeah its been a terrible path. Its your history. Its my history. We are both Americans.

I agree the national anthem is a racist song. Key who wrote it was pro slavery. There was actually a deleted verse that spoke about the slaves and was quite racist. So, yeah I'll give you that. But, like the flag it has come to represent something far more than that, something Key never intended or thought possible. It stands for the strife of our country, the change that has occured, and the change that still lays ahead. I stand during the anthem for the same thing those football players are kneeling for. I understand why they kneel, I don't judge them for it, alot of the people standing want the same thing.

Why in so many threads does bodyman go out of his way to fuck with Dviss and why does Dviss take the bait every fucking time?

Rinse, repeat, insert in different thread.

I suppose you think you have revealed new information?
Not much point in trying is there?

I remember my Grandfather telling us how wonderful this country is and why. Too bad you guys never figured it out.
