I liked a comment I saw. If she flew 50 other times she should be mad nobody did their job. Although I'm not sure if they were really supposed to or not.
Sounds like she was trying to be a hero and ended up looking stupid. It is a safety procedure though...there are alot of children being trafficked out there. Now this employee may not check anymore, out facing such embarassment, and a child could be in harms way for real.
My wife gets carded for alcohol every time. She's 43. People don't get offended by that but the reason people do it is to make it a habit for the employee.
