    I've long ago accepted the fact that there will continue to be more and more people in the world...we live in a country that is a few hundred years old as it's defined....China ...15 thousand years of history...as I said...food and economics determine population for the most part..the point of overpopulation for me is well before there are not enough resources to support the population...my immigrant wife had one child and is a citizen...she's not the problem...teen parents are all around us and born and bred right here....they'll make babies but my son's generation has seen the cost of raising a child and the cost of living as setting the bar towards having kids pretty high...non of them seem to be rushing parenthood so far..26-27 year olds

    This is weird, I have no idea where or what the Acropolis is. But then I must explain there is a big river named the Columbia that runs through your City? Something not right here.

    All true. Thus we do not grow without immigration which will have a double our population again soon after the mid point of this Century.

    Doubling it before was easy, it has tripled during my time. Doubling it again will be very difficult. Most place lack the water, the list of lacks is long.
