He made as many 3-pointers as the entire CLE roster and he did it on 10 fewer attempts. For the series, his 3FG% is .500.

This may be the year he finally gets a Finals MVP to go with his two regular season MVPs. I'd rather see him win it than Durant win it again, and god forbid Draymond ever wins a Finals MVP award. That would truly suck.

So watching some highlights this morning, I really wish there was a penalty for complaining. Every FUCKING call, someone is pleading, whining, crying, etc to the ref.

No one is arguing that....nor was that the point of the post. Merely that there were 2 different calls. Reality 101....lol.

LA has been in a bunch of TV spots down in San Antonio for the past couple seasons.

This series is over. Cleveland gave away the series when they muffed that first game.

Brother, they never HAD this series. I’m rooting for ‘Bron to lead them to a win, but I know it isn’t going to happen. Sadly, some will use this loss as a negative against him and his legacy. I believe a player on the losing team should be eligible for series MVP, always should. Not his fault they are going to lose.

Jerry West is the only player to win the championship MVP award from the losing team.

Yeah they used it against Wilt for many years when he game up short against the loaded Boston teams. So I guess some media personalities will try to stir things up against LBJ too. But no one with any common sense will buy it.

However count me in on not giving the "Finals MVP" to a member of the losing team. Especially if they do not come close to winning it. It is the same reason why they don't give the regular season MVP to a player on a team with a losing record.

I strongly disagree. It may have eventually happened anyway, but LeBron is most directly responsible for the ruining of the modern NBA with players forming super teams (and the "head jerk" foul baiting that he fortunately outgrew). He doesn't win any of his titles without joining forces with Wade/Bosh and then with Irving/Love -- and even the latter doesn't happen without D-Groin handing them the series -- so if you can't hold losses to super teams against him, then you can't give him credit for his super team wins.

I do like the guy and his game, but LeBron is reaping what he sowed, and that is his legacy.

No it's not reality 101. As a referee, you should know there's no way brothers could have a good look at that play.

Again, I wasn't saying anything about who should make the call....but simply that two calls were made. That is the reality portion...as stated at the beginning.

So what should or should not have happened had nothing to do with the reality of what actually DID happen. No one was disputing what should have happened.

We all know the rules on this but certainly some of us disagree. I don't see how anyone could say it was an easy blocking call. Sorry but I'm gonna stick with my view that it was a charge.

It was a close call for me but I finally chose the Warriors over the Cavs. But now, in retrospect, I'm really enthralled with the play of LeBron and so, even though I don't think they stand a chance, I'm gonna go with Cleveland as my preferred choice.

However, he knew the score, else, why would he take that desperation shot at the end of the game?

He didn't take the desperation shot. Enough people yelled at him that he finally through it into the corner for some teammate to throw up a prayer as time ran out.

The thing is I don't really base one's legacy on how many championships they won or did not win. Not Robert Horry with his 7 or Karl Malone with his zero. I don't give credit for LBJ's rings in Miami nor do I discredit them because he had 2 good players around him when he did. Common sense tells me that he is one of the best all around players in the history of the game. Period.

The perceived value of how many rings a player has won, has been fueled by the media over the years. I don't buy into it.
