Why couldn’t Yankees get a rookie pitcher like Baez? Because Cashman does not believe
    in a pitching consultant....I wonder if he’s a narcissist?

You make it sound like the Tigers have all these outstanding young arms that they drafted......their top 5 starters none were drafted by the Tigers

Not really. Just talking about one pitcher. Big Al, would Cashman be a relative of yours? Lol.

Not counting today's game/error by Torres, GT has 7 errors in 35 games.
That would be 30 Errors over 150 games.

Jeters 96 regular season: 22 errors. (24 in Y2K). Torres will have to play years of great baseball, defensively/offensively b4 he's worthy of comparison to Mr. RE2PECT.

Either GT wakes up real soon or it's going 2b a long long year. He can easily win games with his bat, BUT what will it take a couple of Game Losses in close & xtrmly important games, 4 GT 2 get his shit together with his glove???

One of these days the Yanks need to let Severino throw a complete game or two or more....

we do kill Cashman on here a lot regarding pitching but at the same time, the Yankees dont tank and get top 5 picks to get stud pitchers. He gets bashed becaus e we dont have a staff like the Astros, who acquired at least two of their studs (both of them are having career years as Stros). Domingo German could follow Seve if given a chance, he has good stuff. We do have Adams and Sheffield in the minors and Adams people were drooling over last year.
Maybe it's Sather and Tortorella's fault.

Hmmm....pop up in front of the plate romine butchers and gleyber compounds by daydreaming and not covering first and then hicks takes a ball he should catch and turns a hundred different ways before he blows it. Now a routine flyable to left for the game except for the 2 miscues. Holder doing his job but yanks need to wake up and catch the ball.

...we bash Cashman because he's never drafted and groomed and produced a stud pitcher in nearly 20 years of being GM (Seve was a FA)...and German who came via a trade has good stuff but poor command/control.
...Adams and Sheffield are nowhere near being ready.

Well, Yanks first 11 picks last year 1o were pitchers and 2 already showing great promise and shooting up the system. The young pitchers are coming but still a year or 2 away. We need to pick up 1 good young established starter till the young pitchers arrive. We have plenty of assets to make this happen if someone good is actually out there and becomes available.
