To make our pitching matters worse, Jordan Montgomery will be heading for Tommy John surgery as just heard on Mike's On on WFAN.

    Thanx Big Al....
Whoa, I was unaware, a major game changer. Imo Yanx should be pursuing 2 starting pitchers

No doubt, at best J-Mo might begin light throwing/rehabbing by summer of next year. Unlikely 2 see him compete until 2020; even then Seems most rarely rebound from TJ Surgery, less Tommy John himself of course. Even TJ needed a 2nd yr to regain form & reinvent himself; after missing a complete year post surgery. JMo's future will be uncertain at best.

Just saw that on MLB network, a real kick in the ass, he'll be missed. So Cashman best get off of you rusty dusty and solve that equation. If you can't trade for a pitcher buy one.

tough break for Monty but Cashman and the Yanx have a history of mismanaging/misdiagnosing their young pitchers/prospects...FAs too.

^^^^^yep. Pitching history and Cashman, Yankee GM, never the twain shall meet.....
Rudyard Kipling knew exactly what he was talking about, but who ever thought his
words would impact a Yankee baseball problem! Will wonders never cease?
