David West. We've seen everything Antawn Jamison has to bring to the table. He has a silkey smooth jumpshot and can make offense for himselves but not for others. Antawn Jamison needs a powerful scoring option beside him to be succesful. Although Antawn is one of my favorite players, he's much older than West and Antawn doesn't try on the defensive end the least bit. West has alot going for him in the future. He's stronger and faster than Antawn, although Tawn's jumpshot is better at this point West is still young. At this point it's looking like West but who knows how the rest of his career will pan out.
For now, it's Antawn. But quite possibly next season could be David West's coming out party. He's extremely athletic, he can easily hit the 18-20 footers, he can drive it in he lane, and he has solid defense on the post. In order for him to become a threat like Jamison, he has to start becoming the offensive leader. The Hornets struggled because they had no go-to-guy on offense. If David starts averaging around 20-21 a game, it would take pressure off of CP3, Peja and Chandler. West looks like he is the next Elton Brand. I'll enjoy watching him for years to come. :happy0144:
