Now if only we can get Evan Turner to take current Nurk money...

This article says the Blazers are going to wait to see what offers Nurk gets and then match:

That’s reasonable. I don’t think he will be getting very high or max offers from anybody. If he doesn’t accept anything from anyone for several days then maybe sit down and offer him something reasonable to avoid having him take QO.

The bigger concern may be that if he doesn’t get a big enough offer he could decide to negotiate with a European team.

OK, I guess. This may work in the team's favor. Nurk knows the Blazers want to keep him. But he also knows he has to continue to develop his game. It will all workout IMO.

I can see the Kings offering Nurkic a massive contact.

Can't see him accepting the worst city in the NBA.

He can be offered all he wants. It’s all about if he accepts or not. Let’s just hope he tries to work with Portland prior to signing anything.

The only teams that could pay Nurkic more than we are willing to match are:
    https://basketball.realgm.com/analy...018-Cap-Space-For-All-30-NBA-Teams-Version-20

    Atlanta
    Indiana
    Lakers

That is the whole list that can offer more than 18 MIL a year. And if you want to go lower and aren't comfortable with 18 then it only adds one more team. Dallas.

Atl is rebuilding. Nurkic is young but doubt they have interest in a big contract when they aren't ready to win yet.

Indy has Myles Turner already who is good.

    Lakers want bigger names.

    Nurkic isn't going anywhere.

That photo isn't very flattering for Nurk.

Also, I'm not sure what his statement is supposed to mean
