15. Portland Trail Blazers 2017-18 record: 49-33 Result: L, West Round 1 2019 title odds: 80-1 How an opening-round sweep can alter the perspective of a season and the outlook for the future: The Portland Trail Blazers story. The Blazers went from a success story to a bust in four quick games. From something to keep a long-term eye on to wondering about the future of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillardwith the franchise. The Blazers have perpetually been a player (or two) away, but it was never more evident than in their opening-round playoff series against New Orleans. Lillard and McCollum can provide plenty of regular-season sizzle, but for the Blazers to make their breakthrough a la the Warriors circa 2015, they need something else. And the problem is, their cap situation isn't exactly going to accommodate that. -- Royce Young http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...r-rankings-post-finals-hierarchy-all-30-teams
Also, Jimmy Eat World is a great band live. Saw them last year open for Incubus... really really good.
The Blazers can win 82 Games next Season, i will never trust this roster again in the Playoffs after that pathetic series against the Pelicans.
What the fuck is this? How can anyone legitimately rank teams before the draft and before rosters are even settled. There are a lot of dumb things that get written, but this is right up there at the top.
The only ones I agree with are Warriors, Rockets, Celtics, Sixers, Suns, and Hawks. If you are in rebuild mode for more then 3 years in a row you are considered purgatory as well in my book so Kings are out. Cavs may not be currently but they will be as soon as next year. And Mavs should be in rebuild but you could say that the last two years and the owner refuses to stop chasing big names so they are still purgatory until proven otherwise imo. Grizz have a high pick but haven't shown ready to blow it up.
