Nope, it depends on what the meeting is about. If it's about Russian adoption then all is clear. If it's about partnering up on a plan for getting some fake news out there to help one candidate that the Russians prefer for some unknown reason, over the other candidate and information is exchanged or there is an attempt to exchange information then it will get someone other than just the Russians involved in some very hot water. Sounds like something worth investigating. Where's the FBI in all this. That would be their job to investigate.

There's quite a few differences. Start with Cuba doesn't have nukes and doesn't pose a military threat to anyone. Cuba doesn't have oil & gas that it can withhold strategically. Cuba is in our backyard. Cuba isn't interfering in our elections. Cuba's dictator was very old so we had a strategic opportunity to influence a new generation of leadership. We were the last, not the first, western nation to reach out to Cuba. None of those things is true of Russia. barfo
