How do you know it’s easy to be the best Kevin, when you never have been?

Seriously F KD. If him and LA had kids, Tampax stock would skyrocket.

So it's harder to win when you don't have to worry about being the main focus of the opponent's defense\double teams ?
And i thought i knew something about basketball!

At first i hated him because i thought he was trolling, now i laugh at him because i understand how stupid he is.
I listened to all five of his podcasts with Bill Simmons , the guy is just dumb, he's like a 14 year old kid.

    Best song ever:

Should be played before every game instead of the national anthem.

    Hey, that's insulting to 14-year-olds.

Getting assists is not being a play maker. Look at the guys he’s passing too... not
if him and LMA had kids where do the eggs come from...?

I have resigned to the fact that everyone hates Durant, and its fine. I don't dislike him at all but who cares what I think. I just want to make sure everyone admits if he was in Portland they'd love him and have no problem with everything he says. Thanks byeeee

You do realize how much different a decision to go to Portland would have been compared to going to a 73 win team who he just choked too and had won a championship without him, is?
People “hate” him because he basically said can’t beat em so I’ll join them, and since then has basically been trying to convince us and himself how awesome he is...

Do you know what else is easy?

Coasting to another title win on a 73 win team. Who cares if he won Finals MVP? He barely broke a sweat for the second straight year in the playoffs. His teammates openly talked all year about being bored in the regular season and struggled to find motivation to even try. What other team can sustain its two time MVP to go 1-13 in a playoff game and still come out winning a finals game on the road? It's a pathetic display.

The TV deal, KD, and the Warriors ruined basketball for everyone else in 2016. Ratings are great now, but this is doing more damage than good in the long run in non-Bay Area media markets.

Hate to be a yeah but guy buuuut....

He averaged 3 TO per game. His AST = 1.80

    LeBron:

    9.1 (career high) to 4.2. His AST = 2.17

Compared to LeBron he is a shitty passer.

And play maker altogether, Lebron finds guys open / good shots more often than KD does. Lebron may be hard for some guys to play with because of how much the ball is in his hands, but he’s a way better player at making plays for his team mates.

Uh yeah, I know Portland didn't win 73 games any time recently. What I am saying is that if Portland miraculously was in the position of being a great team with a title, and Durant wanted to come here there would not be a PEEP about it from anyone in here.

Apparently there were some AWK-WARD jokes at Durant's expense at the Warriors' parade:

yeah but... compared to LeBron pretty much every player is a shitty passer. Compared to Blazer forwards, Durant is worlds better as a passer/playmaker. So are all Blazer forwards incredibly worse then shitty passers or maybe are you & whoeverthefIquoted1st mischaracterizing what a shitty passer is?

Sweet not joke, only 15 years stale. Hey, wheres the beef?

I'm a Blazer fan living in the Bay Area. Between the gym and friends houses, I'm probably subjected to as much W's ball as anyone here. Without question, you've no idea what you're talking about. KD is a complete stud at most every facet of the game. Like most every one of the long timers here I wanted Oden, but I'm not drinking haterade to drown my woes in the offseason.

KD is obviously really good, but he is not that good of a playmaker for his team mates, sure he gets some flashy assists sometimes but he’s the only really ball stopper on GS which is fine that’s his game. Also the comparison with Lebron in terms of play making isn’t even close Lebron is so much better at getting guys involved than KD is.
The reason why KD and WB didn’t win a championship together is because they both didn’t trust their team mates, didn’t make anyone else better. How many guys had KD made better? All the dudes on GS were good without him, Klay, Steph, Green already champions, who had beat him.
KD is a hall of famer and 1st ballot too but acting like he’s now Steve Nash is ludicrous, he’s mediocre at best with getting guys involved. That’s his job though score, rebound and when doubled pass it, and he’s great at those things.

Good grief with the bipolar takes. I'm contending he's not a "shitty passer" not Steve Nash. I'll know better then to respond next time you derail

I never said he was that.
But tell me who has he made better?
I’d argue the warriors probably win the last two without him.
So you’re right he’s not garbage, but he’s not really good either... He’s just ok at it, but when you’re one of the best scorers ever you don’t really have to pass a lot.

Probably not from in here but his overall popularity would be the same, and on the broader scale other people would say the same.

Oh and your contention was that KD is a stud at almost every facet of the game, I disagree in terms of passing and being an actual playmaker for others, sure Steve Nash was hyperbole, but what do you consider a stud in terms of play making for others?

every team he's been on since HS? Honestly, all your takes seem to be hyperbole. Not for me.
