    Anything legal should be allowed. The protections are so light, and it's pretty much impossible that the Spurs would be a bottom six team. If you're going to allow the trading of future picks, you have to allow protections too. I could simply say screw it and not protect it and it'd be simpler, but I'm actually valuing the future as if I'm going to be using picks in the future.

    I'm planning on seeing if people want to simulate the future through 2K (I'd sim a week a day, and post videos showing standings and stats each day). Could play it through 2019 or 2020 if people wanted.

    You'll still have the 33rd pick to trade away, instead of 30. There's pretty much no difference there, but their is a difference here because 30 is a first rounder and it makes certain protections possible.

    Here is a link to everyone's team: It breaks down how much cap space you have, roster holds, future salary, free agents, pretty much anything you want for information about your team.

    Give me a little bit to fix all the rosters post trades.

    So it looks like this version works with the players, we just have to figure out the picks. Like I said if Cleveland gets their 2019 pick back from Atlanta then Utah and SA wouldn't have to give up their 2019 picks (with the extremely unlikely protections) but if you guys don't want that then I guess this would work for me.
