Didn't deter OKC from going after George and Indiana came out pretty good.

I would say, good chance you're not competing for a playoff spot either and will likely need a coach. :bgrin:

Let's be honest, this trade was strictly negotiated from the side of getting yourself the best end from all angles.

Utah and Clevaland could've just traded Gallinari and 13 for Love. You only wanted to make it a 5 team trade because then you don't have to take hardly any salary back.

This isn't going to be 100% realistic. Honestly, I think all teams take that trade in real life. It kind of evolved. Swiss didn't want to give up #5 straight across for Aldridge and I didn't want Love, so I strung that together with Utah and Dallas. I also wanted cap space which I'm creating with this trade. It's also kind of nice to keep LeBron in CLE so someone can offer Julius Randle a sizeable offer sheet to put the Lakers in a tough spot going forward.

No, I didn't. Cleveland is trading Love to get Kawhi, essentially. I don't think Cleveland does that trade. A horrible contract and the 13th pick for Love isn't good value.

I think all teams are getting a great deal.

For the record if everyone agrees to this then the contracts of Jerebko, Sefolosha, and Udoh are all guaranteed for next year.

Sike. Ettore Messina would be a great coach, and he's been here.

Please stop saying the Cavs had to be involved in this to make it work, they didn't...

They could've done that deal with Utah separately and then worked out a deal with you, it's just that doing it that way wouldn't have given YOU all that cap space because the Cavs would've had to send back matching salary for Kawhi. That has nothing to do with the Cavs needing anything to make it work, just you. I'm not saying it's bad, everyone wants to win the trade, but don't act like you were pleasing everyone.

Is the spurs roster up to date on the google doc? I’m so confused, kind of want to see what they have.

Of course I'm trying to get the best deal because I'm giving up the best two players in the trade!

But I also think it's a great deal for everyone, and worked with them to get them what they wanted as well. Dallas needed the 13th pick. So I would've had to make three different trades, which would've involved more players, and more trouble matching salaries since players would only be getting swapped between two teams in three trades compared to four teams in one.
