Howard seems more like the #2 guy. Out of those I say Marion. He's just better overall than all those guys to me, but if you really have Howard as a #3 I may go with him I don't know.

First off: Antawn Jamison should be on this list, as should Ron Artest. Also, Josh Howard is the #2 guy, take him off that list PFF. Sheed, ehh, not sure. Detroit, IMO, doesn't even really have a set "3rd option." I'd label Detroit with having Rip as their #1 option and everything else falls into place within the flow of the game.I'm going with Shawn Marion. He can hit the 3, he gets out in transition beautifully, he's very athletic and explosive, and he's always going full-throttle.

^ Antawn Jamison was the first person that came to my mind. Also, Chaps and ASU, I'm not sure if Josh Howard is the number two, but I may be wrong because I am not positive at all. I believe that Jason Terry gets the green light to shoot more than Josh Howard does because when Dirk doesn't produce, I often see JT taking the threes and taking over the game, but thats just based off of what I've seen from them on national tv this year. Richard Jefferson has not been the same since the injury. Rasheed Wallace can be great sometimes but he doesn't make the impact he used to make in my opinion. Manu Ginobili would be a great selection but he did not stand out this year. So pff, it comes down to really marion and howard/terry but I would have to say Marion beacuse he fits that team perfectly. He rebounds, hits the bucket when you need it, and plays great defense.

Al Harrington should be on this list. He's behind J-Rich and Baron Davis. It has to be Marion.

JET has his moments though, definitely.

it has to be Marion no doubt. hes one of the best players in this league when it comes to being a complete player. he's quick, can shoot, can dunk, plays D, and is very energetic and he is a top 5-10 in each of those.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Billups. He can be sneaky good at times.

The only guy they're really ripping is Josh Howard being on that list. Thats the only mistake he made.of all of the third options, Matrix is the best player out there.

As a third scoring option, I think that Jamison is the best third option in the league, a better third scoring option than Marion. Mainly because he is a better scorer than Marion and the rest of the third options in the league are. He can score off the dribble if needed, he can get open without the ball and hit the open shots. I like his scoring better than any other third option in the league.

Even though he's not the best 3rd option in the league, Shane Battier does deserve some mention in this thread for sure. He's done a gret a job of bring a complementary player all year to T-Mac and Yao. A really unselfish and good teammate.Ron Artest is not a third option. He does too much on the court offensively and defensively tp be a third option behind Kevin Martin. Martin is definitely a good swingman, but I don't see him as the #2 man as long as Ron is in Sac-Town.

JamisonBig AlShawn MarionRasheed WallaceRichard JeffersonManuJETI think everyone should give Crawford some credit. Marbury and Curry usually have the ball and both put up 20 while Crawford is getting 17.
