Someway KAT ends up a Blazer. This will be the first step in a rebuild. The last step will be Devin Booker coming over from the Suns after he lets them know he won’t be resigning in 2019 and wants to play with his old UK teammate so they take CJ back for him. You heard it here first. Oh and somehow NO doesn’t give up Dame in the KAT trade so after the Booker trade we have one of the best 3somes in the league. All of this is green font btw
Neil spoke about to bring Veteran Players, man i don't know if that's make a difference for us. The peak for this Team is the 2nd Round. I just can't see how Neil can add a difference Maker without Trading CJ, we are stuck in the middle of nowhere, i feel sorry for Lillard
Blazers have been in purgatory for a long time. I wonder sometimes if I am in hell and this is my punishment. Instead of getting poked in the ass with a hot poker I get to watch the mediocre Blazers lose for eternity.
Not a lot of people agree but I’m a proponent of being VERY good or VERY bad, I take zero stock in consecutive 8th seed births or winning one playoff game a year for a decade straight. Give me championships or give me high lottery picks.
How do we cover the extra salary over 12.9M+100k when we are over the cap? Doesn't our being over the cap limit us to only $100k plus of minus from the TPE?
I agree 100%! And being really bad and getting lottery picks and watching young players get big minutes and develop is much more fun than watching the same mediocre roster every year barely make the playoffs and lose in the 1st round
Will Olshey wait to use the TPE until he sees what team is getting LeBron, and hence will be desperate to clear space?
I misread the < for a > in the above post. Yes, we could use it on someone with a lower salary. The challenge there is that you start running into more players that have good value, who teams will not want to give up.
Was Kawhi that broken last year, or did he pout and tank his way through and entire season? If Kawhi was broken, is he fixed? If Kawhi was that unhappy, would he be any happier in Portland? Happy enough to play, and re-sign? Inquiring minds want to know.
