Houston views Serve Ibaka as someone who they could trade without attaching assets in the case that they do land LeBron. However, if they don't, Ibaka should be a huge upgrade at the PF position over Ryan Anderson.

Houston basically swapped Eric Gordon and a 2020 1st for Serge Ibaka and a 2019 Right to Swap 1sts with Portland. I like it.

 

I tried to trade Ibaka, would rather have the pick and I also have 3 1st rounders in 2020 too. Anderson actually makes less money too for the next two years.

 

They aren't gonna be winning anyway, might as well keep tanking and add future picks as well as ones this year. I probably would've done the deal on his side.

 

Ibaka is older than he says and regressed a ton last year.

 

With the 24th pick, the Atlanta Hawks select Mitchell Robinson, N/A

His BPM, TS%, and REB% all went up this year.

 

I'd just say "USA" lol.

 

Two things, if I was a GM I would almost never make a deal that makes it easier for an already good team to get a lot better, and maybe even land Lebron. The other Ryan Anderson was getting benched for guys like Luc Mbah Amute (spelling?) the guy is making a ton of money and barely gets on the court and shouldn’t be on the court much, he’s like Houston’s Meyers Leonard and getting paid more.

 

But either way Ibaka or Anderson were riding the bench in Atlanta. This way I pay Anderson less money and pick up two 1st rounders. I'm going all out for this tank.

 

With the 25th pick, the Los Angeles Lakers select Kevin Huerter, SG, Maryland
