    You wake up.

There haven't been "Blazer rumors" in his entire tenure.

Are they showing the draft on NBA TV? I have no idea where to catch it in Europe otherwise.

I actually really hope this happens. I'd like us to draft Evans and then get a high 2nd rounder to nab Simons.

Then (no offense) you have no idea what you're talking about.

Why do all great shooters dip the ball?

I wish I was wrong about Connaughton but Olshey is too predictable.

And the vets might not all come in FA so technically you could be right. Wouldn’t change the numbers though.

CHRIST ALMIGHTY! @BonesJones can you seriously not go one fucking day without overtaking a thread (or the whole damn board) with a petty, pointless argument?

This isn't a contest. You don't win anything by always having the last word. You're entitled to your own opinion, so is Dviss, but what the hell does this have to do with the NBA draft and why does it need an entire page worth of posts about it?!?

JUST LET SOME OF THESE THINGS GO DUDE. PLEASE!

I don't understand his need to patronize everyone about everything in every thread. Must be a real joy to be around in person.

He said "So much wrong with this post".. so I responded in kind? Maybe I was more blunt but he basically implied I didn't know what I was talking about since there was so much wrong in my post. Sorry...

I know Stomp or someone called me out on this but this is why indont consider Durant a good/ great playmaker for his team mates. The entire point of hitting a guy in his shooting pocket is to prevent any unneeded movements in the shooters motion. You hit them in their “shooting pocket”, like Lebron is really good at and it makes it much easier and faster to get off a good shot. Now Durant’s gotten better.
The point is the shooting motion should be a smooth ride up. Now I would argue many NBA players have unique shooting motions, and having some unnecessary movement doesn’t mean a guy won’t be able to get his shot off, but it does make it harder to get off his shot, needs more space than others, may have to change the release of the ball more often when defenders close out things like that.

Curry’s shot is lightning quick, if there’s a “dip” it’s only really noticeable in slow motion.

But if you look at almost all great shooters the motion to shoot almost never has a dip, and when it does, that means they need a lot of space to shoot.

This is why Meyers Leonard has always had problems at 7 feet tall getting the shot off his motion has way to much unnecessary stuff AND it’s slow.

So I basically agree with @dviss1 on this.

So if players catch the ball at shoulder height or close to it the ball should only travel straight up? Just trying to understand what you're talking about.

If a player catches the ball at shoulder height it wasn’t a good pass to begin with, very few guys shooting motions starts that high, shooting pocket for most guys is chest.
