Fall in line or else you're a fascist, dangerous and need to be dealt with. Makes a ton of sense, huh?

Liberals new tactic for getting their way is by deeming everything "dangerous". I think they figure it gives them a legitimate excuse to try and forcefully get their way and act radically while doing so.

 

uh...last time I looked they lost the Senate, Congress and Presidential election....even using the tag deplorables didn't work out

Do you guys realize the crazy wing of the Republicans have usurped almost our entire government, rigged the whole system in their favor and everything is the radical Democrats fault, or cuck socialists, or evil commies, or them damn illegals. By the way if you dont stand attention for the flag then you hate America and our troops. Dont any of find any of that thought process alarming?

 

Listen, I am not a republican. I have left and right views. You have to understand some of the thinking going on in this country is dangerous and a lot of it comes from the "progressive left". They run hollywood, the tech industry, music industry, and universities. If this was super right ideas really populating the mainstream, I would be more on top of that but that's not what's happening. As a country we are in dangerous territory and it's not because of the right or just the regular old left. It's the cultural appropriation bullshit, calling everybody racist or that we live in a fascist country. The constant over dramatic views and gender pronouns. The witch hunting culture. That is more on the side of fascism than anything.

 

That whole post was sort of an overly dramatic view ...just sayin' ….seeing John, Bobby and Martin Luther King Jr killed in quick succession was a dangerous time in this country...Nixon's presidency was a dangerous time in this country...we're not anywhere near that level today..but as I've said....political correctness should be just called correctness and not be a character flaw or party affiliation

Our whole power structure is Republican though and becoming increasingly more of the fringe kind. Gerrymandered and voter suppressed so. Our last 3 Republican presidents didn't win the popular vote but still gained power. Bush straight stole both elections. I favor a balance of power between the parties but the Democrats are being buried and demonized. I constantly hear things like liberalism is a mental disorder, and chants to lock her up.

How important is PC bullshit really? No one has to participate in treating people fairly and with respect. It's not a law or anything. It does get some people really mad though so there's that.

 

While Republicans do hold the power, I see through social media and the States in general that the mindset is still very very liberal. Almost everybody hates Donald Trump it feels like. The lock her up stuff is older. The type of liberalism people are hating is this super progressive kind. Not really the left but the super left. They try and control what people say and are the thought police it feels like and I think a majority of people including me are pretty tired of it. It's like context and intent doesn't matter anymore. Can barely tell jokes these days without people getting upset or taking it way too seriously. It's the PC stuff people hate

 

That's a good point. It's unfortunate the liberal media/politicians haven't stumbled upon this simple fact. They are still banging away with the boogeyman BS.

I agree. I don't condone it either, I just that people wanna blame one guy over this. This has been going on for a while now and there are a ton of people involved. The news unfortunately is just as divisive as people these days. Fox is right, CNN is left and there are half truths being told on both platforms but it's mostly spun in a way to appeal to the party they support. I agree though, both sides are ultimately part of the issue and I wish there would be an understanding to some level but the commitment people have to these parties is insane, they just wont give the ideology up. I don't know what can bring them together. For me I just don't watch the news. I mainly use twitter for news with a mix of left and right people and if it's an issue I wanna know more about, I google until I find the truth and not from a platform I know that will be left or right. I want to get the real truth and not a spun version of it.
