I am more of a conservative as far as policies etc. which I support. But, I do like Obama. Just things he supports himself. I like what he says and brings to the table. First black president would be pretty cool.

I'd be happy with either of them as a leftie, but I shrug at how many conservatives support him.

Every president has been a rich, white male so unless Gore enters, those two have my full support. I don't like any of the candidates that much so I'll be happy with one of those two, well...I'd be happier with Hillary as vice president, but they won't run together would they?

I was just adding that to my why it would be great. Not my reasoning. I support the guy, and I like what he stands for. He's for stem cell research, against gay marriage, is for education, against smoking, understands inner city problems etc.

The point is, his skin color shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with it.

Meh...I don't even care, for real. I cared last time Bush v. Kerry but I can't get into any of these candidates. I guess O'Bama is the best option because I think he's the most intelligent out of the bunch.

I'm a lot less pro edwards now that I know he's pro death penalty and anti-gun control, which leaves Obama as the best candidate for me.

Nah we can't trust a left winger running the country. Then again we can't really trust a right winger running the country....hmm we're doomed. lol

There is no way that I'll be watching McCain/Obama debates...McCain will put me to sleep.

He might be the worst speaker, ever.

Mccain wouldn't be my choice as a GoP pres, but leaves me no real choice. Obama's "change" scares the hell out of me.

What "change" would that be? He would just be implementing the Democrats talking points that Congress has tried to pass the past couple years. No real change, per se, from the typical Democrat agendas. Heck he even voted for FISA and agreed with the Supreme Court ruling on handguns in D.C. If I were a GOP member that would make me less skeptical of Obama.
