There is always a team that makes a big splash at deadline or draft. Why couldn't it be us for once? #InNeOWeTrust

We don't have the pieces for a big move. The summer of 16 continues to screw us over.

...and that's what you're going to get, but mostly because you have a very high bar on what
"something" is. Myself, if we just draft Okogie, and trade a future 2nd for Simons, I'd be
excited. But, yeah, that wouldn't move your needle. It's all good.

That video is a pretty intriguing argument for him playing some SF as well. At a 210 lbs at 6-4 1/2 w a 7-foot wingspan, 5.2% body fat index, 8-6 reach, he is slightly longer than someone like Harrison Barnes. (Same standing reach but OKogie has a slightly longer wing. )

    Add a 42" vertical?

Dude is super active. Gets a lot of steals, rebounds (for his size) and gets to the line a lot. He is growing on me. Highlight vid here is nice (all highlight vids are nice but his is super nice): https://hoopshabit.com/2018/06/20/2018-nba-draft-josh-okogie-is-most-slept-on-in-draft-class/

Some day I'll be able to tell my children I was there to witness it. And my children's children. It was glorious.

Olshey gets way too much credit for that. It was a group effort, not just him.

I see that mantra repeated only on this board, never in the national media or Clipper media. Because it's not true.

Something not considered in predicting how well these mocks perform is the player development aspect. Would Draymond or Dame be as good had they been drafted to a team to like ORL or SAC? Or had Kawhi not landed in San Antonio? Perhaps a bunch of these players have the requisite talent, but the coaching they get over their first few years makes their destiny.
