I never said it would be as loud in Jersey, I just said you all bash Carter but if Bosh were in Carter's position, he would do even worse. That funny you think your going to take both, your lucky if you get one. Carter will kill you in the first game and we are going to win. Then it depends on how we respond in game 4, but there is no way in hell we are losing both. You should have lost both in Toronto, give Bostjan Nochbar (spelling?) another chance at that three and it goes in. Don't get to cocky over one win buddy.</div>Trust me if Bosh was in a similar situation it would not effect him because Bosh is focused and does let the pressure of the moment get to him. And he will never be because he is a stand up guy and a class act and a leader unlike Carter. Carter gave up on our organization and turned his back on not only a basketball team but a Nation. He deserves every negative thing thrown into his direction and after RJ's dumb comments about the Sea of Red he will get booed as well and it looked to effect him a bit atleast early on.
Wow. Well played by Bosh and the Raptors. Good clutch stuff down the stretch. I think I had the Nets in 6, but this series and the Nuggets/ Spurs series are the most hard to predict, IMO. Either team could move on here.

Vince Carter didn't turn his back on the franchise, he was being sidelined by Bosh. Clearly Bosh was on his way to becoming the centerpiece. Everyone knows that Carter has a big ego (and their's nothing wrong with that), he no longer felt like the alpha male, so he requested a trade. And Jefferson was showing appreciation for the red jerseys, although I'm sure no support was intended, he might have misread the gesture differently then intended. Or simply put, the red jerseys helped him play better (familiar surroundings and all). No point in taking it out on him because of that.Quit bitching like a girl about Carter, I hear too many Raptors fans do that. Iverson left the Sixers, McGrady the Magic, Wallace the Pistons and Nash the Mavericks. Do fans of these teams bi*ch and moan about it consistantly?

When you mock your former teams player during MVP chant, no matter if he doesn't deserve it, thats reasonable belief to hate him. When you purposely play bad on a team to get traded, its more reasonable belief.

And VC deserves it. Faking injuries, telling us that he wasn't trying when he was on the court and stuff after he got traded. He probably wouldnt get this bad a response from us if he never said those comments. And also when he made a joke of how he said he's never going to dunk anymore but still ends up dunking and then says he was joking. btw did any of you enjoy it when they called Richard Jefferson an ***hole? cause I sure did after his comments in game 1.
Vince Carter turned his back on the Raptors franchise, and I hate to say it in the spirit of positivity, but anyone who disagrees has no clue what they are talking about.I think most subjects in basketball are debatable. I think 99% of subjects in basketball are debatable. This one isn't debatable. From 2002 - 2005, I watched Raptor games religiously. If there were 82 games in a season, I'd see 65 of them. Minimum. That's a bad year for me.In that period, I saw the change in Vince Carter like many didn't see. Most people are going to refer to stereotype; he hurt his knee, he continued having injury problems, the team got worse, Vince wanted out. That's acceptable, he tried, he lost, done. But if you saw the games like I did, you know that is the farthest from reality possible. At the tail end of 2002, while Vince was trying to be a hero and play with a sore knee, he sat on the perimeter and shot jumpshots, while playing the worst defense I have ever seen.(When I say ever, I literally mean, ever. I have never seen any single player play such a horrid combination of help and individual defense)When Vince left, the Raptors won eight games in a row and fought back from a 13 game losing streak to make the playoffs in such improbable fashion my hairs still stand on end. With Vince gone, the Raptors played better defense, played better offensively, and had better chemistry. Normally, I'd applaud Vince's effort because he was injured, but considering all he did during both stretches was whine and complain, I don't feel inclined to garner any positive response. From there, Vince continued playing worse. He didn't play worse because of injuries, he played worse because he had no more effort. Still, even with a recovered knee, he sat on the perimeter and shot fadeaway jumpshots. He played no defense, he showed no emotion. He essentially, to put it in its most accurate form, played like the pansy he is.Then he demanded a trade, then he started caring less, then when the coach stood up to his childish self he got even angrier, then he was traded. The first day he got in new Jersey, he started attacking the hoop again. He went from averaging 16 PPG to averaging 27 PPG. He went from sitting around and playing like a three-legged deer to playing like a Superstar. I don't care what the excuse is. In Carter's latter years with Toronto, he stopped caring. Then he pinned it on the organization, when he, being the focal point, didn't want to pin anything on himself. When the going got tough, tough coach, competition from Bosh, he bolted like the weak-minded fool he is (see the previous two games).Carter turned his back on the Raptors franchise, and if you don't know that, you don't know what you are talking about. I believe 99% of all basketball subjects can be debated. Not this one.

Oh and by the way McGrady left the Raptors the wrong way before leaving the Magic and Iverson didn't leave the Sixers the way Carter left the Raptors. Everyone who replied was agianst you because you clearly don't know what your talking about. I have every right to disrespect Carter I spent a lot of money on jerseys, posters, you name it on him over the years and all of sudden he wants to quit on us because we were going through a rough time ofcourse I am not going to like that give your head a shake. He had all the support in the world here in Toronto but he put himself infront of everyone else. Vince deserves everything he gets from Raptors fans and maybe even more.

Nice win...I've never been so intense watching an NBA game in my life...At the end, I just couldn't take it....my hands were sweating...At the beginning of the game, everyone was struggling but Anthony....Tj Ford missed all of his shots, and he wasn't creating plays either....Anthony did make some thoughts in the 1st...if he didn't, I don't think we would have scored over 10 points that quarter...honestly...Joey G and Andrea continued their struggles.....I have to give credit to the Nets D...I thought the refs should have called more fouls, but the Nets were getting out and contesting every one of our shots....Jason Collins was just hounding CB4 early on...Thankgod that he was able to overcome that...He had some amazing drives to the hope in the 2nd half, and he made some of his shots as well.TJ was also distributing the ball alot better in the 2nd half too...That really got us going...I'd say AP was the playa o' the game though...He played well the whole game, hounding Vince, made alot of shots...He was the only consistent player alsh...Rasho had a nice game too...And for the Nets, thankgod that none of their big 3 had big games....or else we would have probably lost. Nachbar killed us though...He made a 3 every time we started to make a run, he was driving well....This guy is amazing, and he's a complete package...He's not just a shooter folks, I can tell you that for sure.
I read a Article somewhere (Cant find it now) that said that there where these bunch of fans who where looking forward to going to boo Carter. All right, I understand that. But then they said they were also looking forward to sitting behind Carter's mother so they could say some choice words to her. Are you guys f*cking serious? Thats just disgusting and you really need to grow the F*ck up. And all you people who said Bosh wouldn't be affected is a bunch of bullsh**. Nobody will play at the top of their game when everyone is chanting "you suck" and booing you everytime you get it. Maybe Kobe or Wade would be on top of their games, but definably not Bosh. You guys think he is like god or something. I hope the Jersey crowd gives him the same treatment the raptors give him, but I doubt it. He would be way off his game just like Carter is in Toronto. That mother thing though, thats just down right horrible and I lost a lot of respect for you Raptor fans. Booing is one thing, when you bring a innocent women into it, its just wrong.
I agree....I also think some people need to forgive and forget. That's just my opinion....I'm someone who always forgives....If someone's a dick to me, I usually forgive him for it the next day...Sitting behind Carter's mom and heckling her and Vince is just a nasty thing to do. What did his mom do? Why would you do that sort of thing? Some people are just natural assholes.
Exactly, see there is a big difference. Booing him for what he did, ok I understand. But thats just taking it to another level. I'm not even saying to forgive him, but come on. CB4 did you read that article?
People do need to forgive and forget...that thing with his mother was taking it too farHe was obviously in a sh*tty situation with Toronto pre-Colangelo..he was a bit of a dick with saying he wasn't trying but he just wanted to be the center piece of the team and he knew Bosh was gonna be..so he stepped out to let Bosh shine
