I'm a converted hard core Conservative. I've even attended a YAF (Young Americans for Freedom) meeting. Wanted Richard Nixon for President. Shook hands with Nixon. Was slowly converted to a Liberal by seeing that Conservatives were no longer caring for the disadvantaged. My relatives are all from the deep South. I was born in Atlanta. My aunt and my uncle went to the opening of Gone With the Wind in Atlanta by invite from Margaret Mitchell, the author. My aunt babysat for her. They were also invited to the party afterward I speak only for myself. This happens to coincide with how others feel from time to time. My family is all from the deep South, one side from Alabama and the other side from Georgia. I was born in Atlanta. My aunt and my uncle were invited to the premier of Gone With the Wind in Atlanta with Clark Gable and Vivian Lee. My aunt babysat for Margaret Mitchell. She and my uncle were then invited to a party afterward where the movie stars attended. So, my Southern roots are deep. My claims to fame are that I shook hands with Richard Nixon, John Kennedy and Nelson Rockefeller, whom I got to have a brief conversation with. I'm also the engineer that built the box that shoots the Peacekeeper (MX) missile. While visiting my grandparents near Huntsville, Alabama, I was invited his secretary to meet Werner Von Braun, but I was young and chickened out. What an idiot. One of my aunts who lives in Birmingham loves Trump. I love her but dear God, Trump?
His swipe at Muslims in not thinking talk. It is pure parroting of the talking points. Complete bullshit to boot as the Court pointed out just today. Carry on!
news flash Marz…..you're not anybody's superior officer....Carry on doesn't apply in the civilian world ...you're welcome to your views but you are not welcome to judge the thinking process of people with opposing views....Trump has swiped at many, many demographics and cultures....this is not a puzzle...it's an observation....you happen to respect a man who disrespects large segments of the population.....it is what it is....for years the disrespect for other leaders has not bothered the far right leaning members on the board....turnabout is fair play as they say..the least qualified or skilled person one could vote for is president...I'm going to voice my displeasure until it's no longer necessary.
Yeah...you do have a couple of followers ….I own my value system...some can follow a fool though, I'm not one of them
This is the most important part of winning an election...I've worried more about the Supreme Court being unbalanced than any other branch of govt...mainly because of the lifetime appointments..it's a win for the GOP no doubt....strangely you single me out instead of saying "our" next SCJ.....says something eh?
Sure it does. Everyone knows I am happy!!! Triple Count! At the same time "your" does single you out, shines the light on YOU. Unhappy riverman!! We can not share this as "we" would imply. You are unhappy, I am pleased. There is no WE to be seen here.
Of course you are welcome to join me any day you choose. Just admit you were and are wrong, and snap on a happy face.
you have no clue....the difference between happiness and being concerned are substantial....few folks are actually as happy as I am...on the other hand...you seem to thrive on some pretty unhappy posting....let's start with Obama and insurance...makes you happy? Truth? I'm sure your boat makes you happy....Spanish signage at home depot sure didn't.....the latino population in Oxnard didn't....I could go on...my garden and home and family make me very happy....the government...not so much...life in fact is more multidimensional than your snark leads one to believe
WE share the same Supreme Court Justices...that's the reference but you don't seem to read those small details ...you like your segregation according to political affiliations too much
You coulda fooled me. I don't remember bitching about Obama incessantly like you guys about Trump....but, during the terrible recession my wife and I were doing better than most. My job was a little worse because heavier hits aren't the real money makers. People still had insurance and they still wrecked their cars. I voted for Trump for two reasons. The Supreme Court and illegal immigration. I wish everyone else wasn't so pissed but I can't help that.
I was replying to Marz….not sure why you replied to my response to him...Marz had serious concerns over losing health insurance and Obama...you don't remember all those posts...not my concern...Marz had a problem with Home Depot and Spanish signage...Marz had a problem with the Hispanic population boom in Oxnard.....I don't believe I mentioned you or Nevada at all
I've addressed this to him already...not going to cut and paste the conversation...just scroll up and read it..or don't...my stance on issues has been pretty well documented here.
You don't want it to be unbalanced? It isn't a fucking washing machine. I'll take 9 justices that follow it to the letter. You can cry about that if you want.
I remember him being pissed about losing his health insurance. If the Hispanic population boom in Oxnard is from illegal immigrants he has every right to be mad. HEY! I just realized illegals are your "don't ask don't tell" I get it now. By the way....you don't get to judge my thought process and how I decide who to reply to. I think I scared @Cippy91 off when I said I woulda voted for Hilldog if she wasn't such a flip flopper. Talking to you is all that's left. @dviss1 won't even post much now....boring boring boring.
childish definitions...voicing concerns is what adults do......you guys keep trying to be Denny, but you're not...you must miss him around here...
