Thomas & Mack Center is quite a ways off of the strip. I think the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is about the closest to it, but I don't know anything about how nice it is. Never stayed there.
Not sure if this is an option or not. My family and I are staying at the Tahiti village in Vegas (11-minute drive to Thomas and Mack center) for basically free ($99 hold for incidentals) other than a 2-hour sell job to the resort. We ended up getting 5 days and 4 nights, unfortunately, a different week than the summer league games though. I just thought I would throw it out there if someone wanted to try to book a cheap trip for summer league week. It was as easy as a phone call and we got an extra day for actually picking up the phone instead of signing up online. Also, they were able to get us in for different days than were available online. Summer league has always been a bucket list item for me. Maybe next year. https://getaway.tahitivillage.com/i...hn__bA5eNMeCPc986g_2jwdP8ByrXUeBoCUFYQAvD_BwE
The article didn’t say the draft is the only way to get better: it just said the Blazers failed the draft.
Here is a map to help you as it shows some of the nearby hotels. The Hard Rock is probably the closest and my daughter just stayed there and enjoyed it. The Thomas and Mack Center is near the south end of the strip as well as near McCarren airport. You can also go to most websites that do online booking to get rates and also it will show the distance to Thomas and Mack Center. https://www.google.com/maps/place/L...2195d0c26834c!8m2!3d36.1147065!4d-115.1728484
I don't. I think the draft is for the future. Trades are for the now. I like our two draft prospects.
