I like the choice. My top picks: 1) Martin 2) Barbosa 3) Jefferson 4) Ellis In that order. :happy0144:
Playa, Big Al was listed. But Gerald too? Wow, I didn't expect him to be on there. But I think it's ridiculous that Al wasn't even a top 5 mention, that's just absurd.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>WTF Damon Stoudamire is not there</div>Haha, maybe most improved pot smokerAl J got no respect obviously. I don't think he should have won it but I can remember a few years ago when Ben Gordon, a rookie, won the 6th man award when Ricky Davis was scoring almost 20 points coming off the bench and he finished like 4th in the voting.

But either way, I believe the only reason Gordon won it that year was because of Ricky's previous reputation. If Ricky never had problems in Cleveland, I think he would have won it. People never looked passed the fact that he did clean up his act a ton since coming to Boston.
Sasha Pavlovic going from a bench player getting about 4 points here and there from a starter and now avg about 8-9 points per game and he isn't even up there for others? Jeez.

You are right, Ricky was 2nd in the voting, but it wasn't even close in the vote differential. The fact that the people voting we're being ignorant and just judging Davis on his previous years was BS. He was the first rookie to win that award.
Butler shouldn't be on there, in my opinion. Sure he improved, but there were players who improved much more than he did.I think Iguodala should have also garnered some consideration because of how he played after the Iverson trade.

Once again, zero respect for the Bulls. Deng has greatly improved his game from last year to this year, increasing his numbers, such as PPG by almost a total of 5. The scary thing is, I don't think he is done improving. This kid is going to be a superstar in about 2 years. He may not be a Scottie Pippen, but that's fine with me. I'm fine comparing Luol to Luol.
I know CB32 but he was at the same level as Gerald (who absolutely sucked overall) on this..Gerald's only improvement was his scoring ability and defense a little but he still gets burned so much and people obviously don't watch games..which would explain Jefferson not even being in the top 5 candidates..where he should beI just don't understand...Al Jeff's improvements:05/06: 7.9 PPG +8.106/07: 16.0 PPG05/06: 5.1 RPG +5.906/07: 11.0 RPG05/06: 0.5 APG +0.806/07: 1.3 APG05/06: 0.8 BPG +0.706/07: 1.5 BPGHow is Caron Butler more improved?05/06: 17.6 PPG +1.506/07: 19.1 PPG05/06: 6.2 RPG +1.206/07: 7.4 RPG05/06: 2.5 APG + 1.206/07: 3.7 APG05/06: 1.7 SPG + 0.406/07: 2.1 SPGThis has been known as a statistical award and Caron Butler has NOT improved more than Al Jefferson
the only reason Butler gets more noticed is because Antawn Jamison fell back a bit in his play this season. Jefferson has improved more than a lot of guys this year, thats because it was just so unexpected.
